Better yet, is if he didn't see the show tonight and doesn't find out about any of it till the boys on WO live play it for him on air. I'd love to hear Bret say in responce to it "Oh god dammit..." then storm out of the studio to buy a gun. Because we all know this is ending with a gun in Bret Hart's hands. Whether he kills himself or everyone in Titan Towers is all that needs to be debated about really.

In all seriousness though, I'd ask him how he felt about the HHH/Jericho situation.  Whether or not he thinks that HHH is trying to bury him.  Or if he thinks that it's a coincidence that every Canadian that has come in since his screwjob (yes, even Owen) has been buried by HHH in some way.

I may ask him his feelings on HHH in general. The only thing about the Owen part of your comment is that HHH didn't have the clout he has now when they had their program. I think it was more Vince fucking with Owen just because his last name was Hart and you know Vince just can't let Montreal go to save his life.

Agreed.  Also Shawn reportedly rejected a program with Owen which led to him being stuck in a feud with HHH, which featured HHH not jobbing even one time to Owen, thus his singles career was tanked.

Well, in fairness... Bret hasn't exactly tried to let go either. But that's both of their problems. Big egos + too much pride = nothing ever getting resolved

Just think... if they could just get together, iron things out, apologize to each other blah blah blah, imagine what they could do if Hart were to come back... imagine the angle they could create. Sure it would be another boss vs. worker storyline, but it would the ULTIMATE feud based on a real life situation and a sure fire money angle. That would rule... there is no way the creative team could screw that...

Yes, but the problem is, that's exactly what Bret DOESN'T want to happen.  He made mention of that on his website (I think) as the reason he didn't want to show up at WMX8.

At any rate, this should be a great WOL. I know that Bret has been on the show before (in the eYada days), but with all the stuff happening (death of DBS, Confidential), this is a can't-miss show.

 

I seem to remember reading that Bret doesn't hold HHH in high regard, but I don't know how much he has to say about him given that Trips was just some midcarder back in 97. He probably can't comment much on the backstage political situations today, since he isn't there.
