Just Watched the Bret Hart DVD

I have not see the dvd but will be buying it the first day it hits the UK market which is Jan 23rd. I have been waiting for this dvd for a while and must buy it. Is it better then the Warriors? Cause I really like that dvd.

 

 

Yeah, the Bret dvd is alot better. I just bought and watched the Warrior dvd just this past weekend, and while some parts were certainly amusing, the dvd was mostly a hatchet job of the Warrior. That is not the case with Bret's dvd, and thank God for that.

silvervision.co.uk has Canadian Stampede on DVD in one of those "Tagged Classics" releases they do. Otherwise, no matches from that PPV are available on DVD, american anyway.

I am watching the Hakushi vs Hart match from In Your House and this is the first time I've ever seen it. And it is pretty damn good. I kind of remember Hakushi, but was he a NJ wrestler or something?

He's been in NJPW before, and AJPW. He was also a mainstay of Michinoku Pro Wrestling and I've seen him wrestle Hayabusa in FMW before, as well. He's also used the Hakushi gimmick in Japan quite a bit and even got Muta to tag up with him as "Kokushi" where they both painted the fake kanji tattoos all over themselves. He's always been one of my favourites.

I am watching the SCSA/Hart match from WM 13 and my audio is way off. When someone falls, it is about a 1 second delay for the audio.

 

Does anyone else have this?

Its an audio glitch that came with the first batch of the DVD since it was obviously rushed (leaving the WWF initials intact for example). I believed they've fixed this with the current DVDs out now. You can always call up WWE and inform them of your problem so they can send you a fixed version, but if I were you, I wouldn't bother if you plan on purchasing the WM anthology soon.

I still watch the DVD and brought it the first day it hit the UK market. Very good DVD with a lot of extra matches. One of the best DVDs ever made.

 

I really enjoy the chapters where his down fail at Survivor Series 1997 and his WCW run. Also his chapter about Owen and the cage match.

that snot what they meant, they meant in the owen vs bret match form action zone they didt blur out wwf on the graphics

 

actually I bought the dvd in april and it has the glitch in the hart/austin match, so I guess it was the 1st batch. no biggee fo rme . It can be found on the wm collection anyhow. and besides on the bret dvd, it ends as bret is leaving and doesnt even show the crowd chanting "austin"
