Guest Report post Posted May 27, 2002 As many know, WWE's Kevin Nash and X-Pac recently had a huge disagreement with Vince McMahon regarding their storylines. Apparently, Nash was the person who started all the havoc backstage on May 20, 2002 at RAW regarding nWo's direction. Contrary to reports, X-Pac and Nash didn't at any point threaten to quit WWE, but did throw a major fit backstage and got their way while Vince McMahon wasn't present. It appears that Nash and X-Pac expressed their concerns and thoughts at the location where "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Eddie Guerrero were practicing for their angle for Raw that night. Stephanie McMahon wasn't there to talk to Nash and X-Pac as she was given the night off. At Raw's location, Nash re-did the nWo storylines backstage. As he was cutting promos for Raw, many officials backstage noticed that Nash was more into his interview than usual. The original script planned by WWE had both Nash and X-Pac losing in their matches. As soon as Nash is cleared to wrestle, WWE will slowly begin to change his character from a heel to a face. Lately, Nash has been upset with the fact that he didn't have much say in Scott Hall's firing. Another incident that caused Nash to grow frustrated was when he was notified last minute that he wasn't going to be used on TV. Nash received this call as he was at the airport checking in his baggage. Nash has also been upset with WWE's creative writers over the segment where Ric Flair fired Hall from the nWo and brought in Booker T. Nash argued that since the nWo storyline was his, Flair shouldn't run the nWo. Nash was later told that Flair runs the Raw brand and should have the power to change/modify all storylines going on in his federation. Nash, however, responded by saying that it made no sense for Flair to run nWo's storylines ... Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Guest The Bad Guy Report post Posted May 27, 2002 I believe this topic was meant to ask if we're on the side of Nash or if we think he's a complete idiot... if so, I'm definitely siding with Nash. In my opinion Nash would be a good booking resource as long as there was a guy around to take out the stupid stuff and the multiple title victories. Doing the nWo storylines over seemed to be for the best as he looked very motivated throughout, and whether or not alot of people are willing to recognize it or not, Nash is very, very, entertaining when motivated. Also, I don't believe Flair should run the nWo in the storylines. It doesn't make any sense considering how just a couple of months ago Flair hated the nWo and didn't even want it in the federation. Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted May 27, 2002 I'm all for Nash having a say in what happens with the nWo storyline and only the nWo storyline. I really liked the angle they had on Raw. The whole Flair-nWo relationship makes absolutely no sense.
