Eddie/Juvi match from WCW

I never watched WCW but have been downloading loads of random wreslting as of late.

Anyway, I downloaded this Eddie Guerrero vs Juventud Guerrera match and at the beginning Juvi tries to hug Eddie but gets a slap in the face instead.

I was wondering if anyone could give me a bried history leading into the match... unfortunately the commentary is in Spanish so I can't get anything from that.

Limewire aye?

I got that match today as well, but since it was a Nitro match I figured it was just a throw away Cruiser encounter to pure over Eddie as a heel.

That or Juvi turned down joining the LWO since I heard the guy on commentery mention it.

Here's the story:

Eddy was the leader of the LWO when he got in his car crash on New Year's Eve 98. In the 6 months that Eddy was out of action, the LWO disbanded due to "pressure" from the reformed NWO (Rey Jr. was the only one who refused to take off the LWO shirt thus leading to the feud where he lost his mask).

Eddy came back in July 99 and his first match back was with Juvi. Juvi hugged him but Eddy didn't forget that Juvi easily gave up the LWO while he was gone. BTW, Juvi was the heel here. Eddy would start the Filthy Animals soon enough with Rey, Kidman, and Konnan.

Eddie Guerrero was lying, cheating, and stealing far earlier than his WWE days. I remember the short little encounter with Ric Flair where the Filthy Animals stole his Rolex and a few other items.

I remember that. It was around the start of the first Russo era.

I also remember that at Halloween Havoc Ric Flair came out to get his rolex back after beating up Eddie but he actually forgot to get it and had to turn back round about halfway up the aisle.
