Guest papacita Report post Posted May 27, 2002 Ok, this is like memorable bad quotes...except it's not a quote...IT'S A SPOT. Can you remember when a wrestler has blown a spot in a funny way? I can... The Ladder Match between RVD and Jeff Hardy at SummerSlam last year...when Jeff was hanging from the belt loop and RVD went up top for a spinkick, missed and busted his ass. Another funny one I can remember isn't technically a blown spot, but in 97, the Sandman fought D-Von Dudley at an ECW Arena show (I think this was the match where the Dudley Boyz first got together). The 2 were fighting on the floor and some lady was leaning pretty far over the guardrail, and D-Von hit Sandman with a punch. When Sandman sold the punch, he flung his arm back and accidentally popped the lady in the head. When a security guard ran over to the lady to see if she was ok, D-Von hit Sandman with another punch, and this time when he sold the move, he flung his arm back and hit the security guard in the head. It was pretty damn funny. Anyway...there you go...
Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted May 27, 2002 RR01 match,. one hardy dropkicked the other and missed by a few inches, yet the one being dropkicked sold it, too funny. UT/Hogan botching the 1st chokeslam at Judgment Day.

Guest TheDames7 Report post Posted May 28, 2002 Well, count tonight when RVD fell off the ladder trying to do the 5 Star. Also, WM17 when Jeff fell off the ladder trying to walk across 3 of them to get to the tag belts. Dames
Guest JHawk Report post Posted May 28, 2002 WrestleMania 2000 where Hardcore Holly had Crash pinned just before the time limit and Tim White stopped counting at 14:58. JR had no idea WTF was going on.
Guest Report post Posted May 28, 2002 X-Pac was having a hardcore match on Raw against (I think) Blackman, and X-Pac got a kendo stick. He was whipping it around like he was Bruce Lee or something and doing ninja poses and shit, then it slipped out of his hands and went flying out of the ring. He stood there looking like a dumbass for a second, then ran and got it and tried to finish the match with some dignity.
Guest Report post Posted May 28, 2002 I can't remember exactly when, I think Summer 2000 on a Raw, Undertaker goes for a Last Ride on Rock and they botch it up. It wasn't so much the move itself, but the look that Taker gave Rocky afterwards that was hilarious.
Guest Report post Posted May 28, 2002 Taker's chokeslams on Hogan at Judgment Day. Both were pretty bad. And I second the spinkick by RVD on Jeff Hardy at Summerslam last year. He got pretty close in fairness though.

Guest Report post Posted June 1, 2002 Oh, nothing beats Hogan's legdrop!!! You see in one match of his he beat a guy by throwing his leg on him! UNBELIEVEABLE as that does sound, he actually did it! Thank god he didn't try to continue *THAT* little trend! Ohhh your a crack up Terry Bollea, i hope you NEVER retire! This has been a drugged up Taker Mark

Guest papacita Report post Posted June 3, 2002 Not really a screw up, but on one of the early Smackdowns when the Rock refereed Bulldog's title match against HHH. He went for the People's Elbow in his loafers (and I don't care how the announcer's tried to play that off, I could tell by the look in his eyes that he didn't do it on purpose) and slid in right before he hit it. I would've died laughing if he fell. Another similar thing came last year in a tag match when Austin went for the FU elbow and tripped over his opponent. He tried to play it off like he was showboating (hitting off the ropes about 2 or 3 times before finally hitting it). Not as funny though. And finally, another ECW screw up when the Sandman was doing one of his entrances in 98. He climbed up on a chair to pour beer into the crowd, and the chair was kinda unsteady. I was watching with my friend, and I said "it'd be funny as hell if he fell"...and sure enough he did. Right into the crowd.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted June 3, 2002 No Way Out 2001: Rock vs Angle Rock gives Kurt the Rock Bottom...Earl gets down, 1-2-... and he stands up and proclaimed a 2 count. JR: "Angle kicked out!" Kurt didn't budge one single inch...he layed dead. Rock picks him up and just drops him in another Rock Bottom for the 3...and gives Earl a look... Sucks...cause that was a hell of a match.

Guest papacita Report post Posted June 5, 2002 I nearly died laughing when bradshaw fell going up the stairs last nite. You know what...you're not the only one. I laughed too. I also laughed at Unforgiven 98 when Owen Hart (and a few other people, now that I think of it) tripped over the pipe that was feeding gas to the ring for the Inferno match. It was just funny to me because Owen was in his tough guy mode, and seeing him trip was just...well...can't explain it. I guess I just enjoy the misfortune of others. Guest Redhawk Report post Posted June 7, 2002 When Raven "killed" Moppy, but it took like 20 seconds for Moppy to go through the wood-chipper. Just before Moppy got un-stuck, Raven looked at the wood-chipper like, "Dammit, come on." That was some funny shit. And then there was Terri slamming Trish's head into the ... air (which was supposed to be the turnbuckle) on RAW this week.

Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted June 8, 2002 - The RAW where they teased a DX breakup only to have Jericho get ambushed by DX and HHH. Jericho spit out a blood capsule RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA after getting nailed in the gut with the sledgehammer. - No Way Out 2001, the ending of Austin vs HHH when HHH falls on top of Austin and gets the pin. A fan whips a full can of beer/soda from the audience and it nails Austin right in the head, Austin rolls around (probably in pain) and I laugh. I know it isn't a screw up but it was so fuckin funny I just had to put it in. - No Way Out 2001 (again) during the 3 way tag table match Bubba Dudley slips on a chair on the outside and falls onto Kane. It ruled because he slid a good 4 feet on the ramp before landing on Kane. - Royal Rumble 92, Big Bossman gets eliminated and while he's going over the top rope he gets his throat caught on the second rope and gets jacked before landing on the ground. Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted June 9, 2002 When Raven "killed" Moppy, but it took like 20 seconds for Moppy to go through the wood-chipper. Just before Moppy got un-stuck, Raven looked at the wood-chipper like, "Dammit, come on." That was some funny shit. Yeah, what was funny for me was when he was screaming "AAAAAAAHHH!!" in a high-pitched voice as Moppy was supposed to be cut up by the wood cutter, but Moppy gets stuck and Raven's still talking in the high pitched voice for like five minutes before he realizes how futile it is and switches back to his normal voice.
