According-to-the-article,Adam-Herz,Writer-of-the-first-two-Films-has-been-hired-by-univers al-to-write-a-third-script. Also-there-is-word-that-the-first-draft-of-the-script-was-given-to-Universal-Execs-last-we ek. The-information-on-the-premise-so-far-is-that-it-has-to-do-with-Weddings-and-Bachelor-part ies.The-last-piece-of-info-is-that-all-the-female-characters-have-been-written-out-of-the- first-draft. Which-means.... NO-Shannon-Elizabeth. NO-Tara-Reid. Hopefully,all-of-the-female-characters-will-be-in-the-final-script. AMERICAN-PIE-3!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Steve-Stiffler-truly-is-King! Now if Alyson Hannigan wasn't in AP3, *then* I'd be pissed. So when are you getting a new keyboard? Alyson's character was just starting up a nice little romance with Jason Biggs's character, whereas I could see the other two not being in AP3, because they were both hooking up with other guys. The whole "I have to get over Shannon/Tara" themes were already used up in AP2, so what else can be done with them, other than maybe cameo appearances? Oh, well... She is the pop culture reference attached to the film (This one time..at band camp..."). Without her...the film will BLOW. Allyson is a critically acclaimed actress, while Tara will never be remembered turning anything resembling a good performace(I think Body Shots will go down as her best movie...how scary is that) So actually, I think you are the one thinking differently. I'd like to have Ally and her talent(and IMO better looks) than Tara giving another mediocre performance. I can live with never seeing her in a another movie personally. She looked like she was going for that horrible 'wasted model' look, the sort of transition Camaron Diaz unfortunately went through as well. I've yet to see that Buffy girl show much range, she plays the same 'kooky' type of character in everything i've seen her in i'm not convinced she's a particularly great actress. As probably the only red-blooded straight single male in America NOT interested in living for the sole purpose of sex (c'mon, MILF? that's just embarrassing), it simply wasn't funny, and having to see the first one three times certainly didn't make it any better. As for Tara Reid, I still don't know who she is other than she dated Carson Daly and I think she was in Josie and the Pussycats (which I heard was actually all right... can anyone back me up on this?). It had a few funny parts (the product placement jokes, the stuff at the end), but even if you went in expecting some light-hearted fun, it was just a chore to sit through. The American Pie movies were better. " Well, she just played a super evil character for the last couple of shows on Buffy and is getting rave reviews from all TV critics from her work. Plus, she might play the kooky character, but she has demostrated the ability to convey emotions on the show, something that Tara Reid has ATTEMPTED to do, but to no avail. And yeah, Big Lebowski was a better movie, but Tara played a bigger and better part in Body Shots...thats what I mean in it being her best movie...and her emotion wasn't that great there. My guess is that the script surrounds Oz' (Chris Klein) or Jim's (Biggs) bachelor party (depending on how far in the future they make it) so the only women they need would be Heather (Mia Sorvine) and Michelle (Ally) assuming that it is Oz' bachelor party and he and Heather are still together (other wise WHY have the AP connection at all as it would be too jarring to start AP3 with Oz and Heather broken up) and you wouldn't need much from them anyway aside from glorified cameos (i.e. Jim gets a call from Michelle in college (Band College of course) as well as a call from Nadia (Shannon) and The Shermanator, ect) Steve Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The other didn't rule it out i don't think, but Mena Suvari is completely useless to the films, she's ugly, has a speech impediment, can't act, and has no screen presence. The red head is by far the most talented and useful of the female characters, if she isn't in the 3rd it will be a shame. The guy who played kevin is also a waste of space. As for Shannon Elizabeth, her best role is still Jack Frost. She should realize that she will never become anything close to a serious actor and just become a horror/cult/b-movie scream queen or "sleazy sex goddess".
