Guest bob_barron Posted May 28, 2002 Report Posted May 28, 2002 I'm just wondering what PAL converted tapes are like. Whats the difference from a regular NTSC tape
Guest Andy Posted May 28, 2002 Report Posted May 28, 2002 Do you mean converted to PAL or converted from PAL? Andy
Guest Andy Posted May 28, 2002 Report Posted May 28, 2002 There are fluctuations caused by differing electric frequencies and a different rate of frames per second. This causes occasional jumps. Thanks, Andy
Guest paltaper Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 There are fluctuations caused by differing electric frequencies and a different rate of frames per second. This causes occasional jumps. There are no problems with a tape converted using a world standard vcr. You will only get a jumpy pic by converting on a computer without de-interlacing frames etc. and changing the fields and frame rate correctly. Basically, done right, they should be same as a normal copy.
