I don't like HHH, but I also don't like half the people in the WWE main event these days. I found y'all when you came to the Smarksboard, and so you practically HAVE to expect me to be a workrate freak.

 

Yup, I like Benoit and Guerrero and whatnot. HHH is becoming gradually less offensive to me, though, now that Stephie's out of the spotlight.

In my eyes, HHH is ok. Not bad, not great, ok. He USED to be terrific, and seems to be working back towards that, but he's not quite there yet. Plus, he works better as a heel.

I loved HHH in 2000 and 2001, but he's been kind of boring me so far in terms of his return.  I think it's the face character--it just holds him back.  When he does his normal bad-assy sledgehammery death things, they come off as heelish, but the announcers keep putting him over as a face.

 

Bring back full-on evil HHH, and I'll giggle like the schoolgirl that I am, deep down inside.

Well I think HHH was good when he was at his best, he's shit now. But his 2000 run was great, if not a tad bit overrated. His persona was awesome, but his matches weren't the ***** classics some people make them out to be.  The 2000 run was also special, because of the surprisenly good WWF booking.  It was the first time since Vader or vintage Underaker, we saw a badass heel going out there and kicking the shit out of top babyfaces.    

 

As of 2002 HHH.  He's not over as a face at all.  His matches suck.  And he is been severly over pushed(maybe those rumors of backstage influence are true.)

I liked JP but everyone has to admit that Mick Foley putting him over three straight times is what made people mark for him. It even caused me to mark and I'm a workrate lovers. I've lived in Philly my entire life and watched great wrestlers come through ECDub. I pop for fast pace action with lots of moves, even if their isn't always good ring psychology and sometimes junk matches if they're special. The Crippler is a smarks posterboy and I love his style. Nuff said

I think we need to see DX again. Think about it, get some of the original members back i.e. HHH and Gunn (but after a big push) and get a few new members, maybe Latino Heat? Then you could have a new and improved DX with a little more threatening of a demeaner about them. Less comical promos and more dispicable heal action. You used to want to be in DX, but would you want to be if/when they come back?
