Why hasn't Brent Albright been called up to WWE?

Recommended Posts

I've seen his work, he's been around forever, and he's got a good look to him, plus he has tons of talent. I know he signed with WWE in late 2003 so technically he's only been training there for 2 years, but I know he did a Japan tour before that and other training so he's been around for at least 5 years.

And please don't give me the standard "WWE is stupid" answer, cause we all know that.

Is he bad on the mic or something?

He's not a hoss and he's not roided to the gills.

Also, I don't think he had found his niche beyond just being "Benoit-Lite" until Heyman took over OVW.

I have no idea honestly, the guy is for mine probably the pick of the OVW roster right now. I guess he suffers from the same problem that Jeter, Cappotelli and others do, being that he's not 6'6 300lbs.

By the time Albright probably does get called up, he'll probably get a gimmick that's even worse than "Eugene" and "Mickie James: Lesbian Trish Superfan" combined.

Those jobs are relegated to guys like Al Snow, Lance Storm (at one point), Val Venis, etc. Albright is a contracted developmental talent.

Mike Mondo is a trainer too, Nick Dinsmore used to be one, also.
