now, everybody's saying this, but i wanna chime in my 2c and i couldnt really be bothered searching up an old thread to do it in.  Book is getting over huge as a tweener/face in the nwo, and he is dragging goldust along with him, sorta like mick foley to goldust's al snow.   now, along with book, the only other nWo member with any shread of credibility or heat with the fans (god it pains me to say that) is nash.  now, hopefully they have book continue to build face heat, and then eventually turn on the nWo ala rock and the nation.  now, lately nash has been continually cutting promos about 'respecting the colours' and such, so he would logically be beyond pissed that book jumps ship.  thus, we have an insta-fued.  now if book turns soon after king of the ring, he and goldust can maybe have a handicap match against nash/pac/show at july ppv.  here book can lose thanks to a heel turn by goldust (who wants nothing more than to be accepted in the nWo, sorta like disco iirc).  now, at summerslam, booker can finally face nash one on one after a month of beatdowns, going over clean and establishing himself as an enormous face with a main event rub. [/fantasy booking mode]

 

sorry, its probably in the wrong folder, and *totally* dependent on nash's willingness to put book over clean and well (which i think he may actually do), but if they went down this path, i dont see any way in which the writers could possibly fuck up book's face turn.

i was trying to be constructive as well, and i hate hhh a *lot* more than most people (think anglesault level), but dont let it dominate every thread.

book is on raw, and for the time being trips isnt, so we can hope that book is an established ME face before trips tries to steal his heat.

I actually don't HATE HHH and don't really care for posts where people want him to be seriously injured.  I just figured I would save Anglesault the trouble and time of posting.

 

I think Booker (assuming things aren't fucked up by the writers) could be in the main event's in 3-4 months and I would think a feud between him and Rock would be great whenever the hell Rock comes back if ever.

nah, i dont think rock, as rock will need to go over upon his return, and while im sure he would be willing to job for book (he owes 3 from the invasion i think), i think book should get the rub from nash, then perhaps fued with austin to cement himself in the main.  then you can have him fued with rocky, etc, as he would then be established, unlike the jericho situation, where he only got the rub from rock, and in the fans eyes it really seems that for them to take him seriously, he needs the rub from two bona-fide main eventers.

That is why I say 3-4 months.  Spend that time grooming him for a ME match with the Rock.  That way when Rock first gets back he can maybe feud for the title and a couple months later Booker can challenge him.

I can't wait for the Booker T face turn.  He is practically a face right now, only wearing the nWo colors.  His reactions are only going to keep getting bigger every monday I bet.

As jaded as i was watching WCW during its slow death crawl i always marked out like a big kid for Booker T as a face. The Invasion killed him as a heel and he's been in a weird sort of tweener limbo ever since as the likeable goofy heel people would rather cheer than boo.

Remember, Triple H's girlfriend and her dad are booking both shows, so I suspect that when Booker turns face {IF he turns face...} then he will be feuding with Justin Credible in the main events on heat.

 

Besides, there is no way he would be more over than Triple H anyways, right?

Triple H is the next Goldberg. He will end Austin's career with a "superkick" (a f'ed up Pedigree), then drive The Rock away, and kill Hulkamania by teaming w/Hogan.

 

Yes... Triple H has that suck aura.... even more than X-Pac. At least it's FUN to hate X-Pac.

Booker reminds me of RVD, he's in a heel stable but getting lots (that's IMO, I could care less if I'm the only one who thinks it's lots) of face heat.

Booker is getting a ton of face heat.  Hell, the roof nearly blew off the place Monday when he prepped the Spinaroonie.  OK, I may be exaggerating greatly, but he gets a good amount of face heat, enough that the question now is not "Will he turn?" but "When will he turn and how will it be done?"

and thats the way it should be.  raw showed a lot of direction on monday, and provided they can capitalise on this (and it pulls a decent rating) they could finally start turning things around.

It's like the People's Elbow, it was just a cocky Heel antic at first, but as Rocky became cool, the Elbow was getting insane pops.
