Guest buffybeast Report post Posted May 29, 2002 I could not get my computer to copy/paste the article. Please read the short news article from the UK Sun which has an interview with DBS' dad. His dad believes there was foul play involved in DBS' death. UK Sun
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted May 29, 2002 Police in Britain are all ready starting an investigation into his death so you never know what might come out of it. I suspect foul play might be involved too but I haven't heard what drugs if any were found in his system yet.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted May 29, 2002 Why was my thread moved? Anywhoo, we won't know for sure until after the autopsy comes back. But I just don't understand why his dad would think DBS was murdered. Who'd want to do that?
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted May 29, 2002 that's what I was thinking earlier but who knows who might have been enemies with davey. i was under the assumption that davey was getting his life turned around and was trying to keep away from the drugs, so he could have made another run for the wwe. it could also be that his father is having a hard time believing that davey killed himself so quickly. hopefully an autopsy will reveil the truth and is he was murdered the person responsible will be caught. Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted May 30, 2002 Anything is possible...but I doubt he was murdered. Then again I was wrong Monday afternoon when I said that Chris Benoit would not be returning on Raw, so what I think probably means nothing.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted May 30, 2002 Apparently the situation is going to be covered on Confidential, or at least a tribute of some sorts.
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted May 30, 2002 His kids gave different accounts of how he died. There was a mystery man called "Ben" IIRC who disappeared. Apparently this is actually an old friend of DBS from Stampede days who was on holiday with him. He had just proposed to Andrea Hart according to her He was just about to get back with Diana according to others His Dad believed he was totally clean and off drugs. Basically it sounds like the usual disfunctional Hart family story. With the so-called mysteryman and the differing accounts of the death, it's probably an old mans way of coping with the death. I would be very surprised if there was anything to this story and hope that not too much money is spent pursuing it.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted May 30, 2002 Agreed. Hopefully the autopsy will have a conclusive explanation to explain DBS' untimely death. BTW, wasn't Andrea Hart, DBS' girlfriend, still married to Bruce Hart?
Guest franchise632 Report post Posted May 30, 2002 I think Davey's father is suffering from FritzVonErichitis, meaning he just is not capable of believing that his son was actually using drugs, although we all know, and Davey admitted to being in rehab atleast twice, as well as serveral confirmed stories of drug problems dating all the way back to his tours in Japan with TDK. Its sad when parents are in such denile over there kids problems.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted May 30, 2002 Well, in DBS' father's defense, we don't know what lies DB may have been feeding to his father. He could have told him that he was clean and off drugs, that he's doing great, etc. So his dad may not have the truth. However, I personally am inclined to believe your hypothesis.
