After the world has to see what Hogan will drag their matches down to, they'll be begging for Angle vs Edge.

 

Who does this leave for Edge, being on Smackdown! eliminates his going for titles, Jericho is stuck with Henry and Farrooq (hopefully not for long), its too soon for Edge vs Undertaker, HHH is stuck with Test. Who's left to feud with for Edge?

Angle fight Edge in the midcard and have great matches?

OR

Angle fight Hogan in the main event and have shitty matches?

Choice B. If Angle can get a win over Hogan at some point in there, it will do wonders for his career. And no, goodhelmet, jobbing to edge is NOT doing wonders for his career.

With Hogan's bad ribs you know Angle will be bumping like crazy for him. What moves of Angle's will Hogan take? Probably none of his suplexes or the Angle slam. If Angle wins he's going to get the crap beat out of him the whole match and then he'll hit Hogan with a chair to win. You know Hogan won't tap either.

Anglesault, Weather or not Angle jobs is secondary, the primary question is how good was the match, if the matches are good, then the feud did good things for Angle's career. Look at the WM X ladder match, that did a hell of a lot for HBK's career, and he jobbed.

 

Can anyone remember Hogan's last really good match?  Angle is a phenominal worker but I don't know if even ANGLE can carry Hogan to a decent match.

Beating Hogan isn't going to mean shit if Angle can't get something the crowd is into and is decent out of him. It's just hard because Angle's impact offense, no matter how much he bumps, won't work with Hogan IMO.

Part of what made Angle vs Edge so great was that both of them were pretty quick and that Edge could bump like crazy and make Angle look great, Angle could bump like mad and made Edge look great.

 

Hogan is too damn slow, he can't bump worth shit anymore, see the chokeslam he took as proof.

I juest see jobbing to 6 time WWF champ Hogan once or twice as being better than jobbing to Edge (the guy who couldn't beat Regal and lost the IC title in every feud he was ever in) for the 8th time. I seriously doubt the drunken fans in the stands are saying, "wow, what marvelous workrate in that match!"

I'd put Edge against Jericho. Neither have anything else now, so why not.
