No way everything was scripted in that promo because he reacted to the crowd, what if the crowd didn't react that way. That was the best promo of 2005 and it showed HBK is one of the best on the mic as a Heel. All he did was milk the cheap heat from Montreal.... It had nothing to do with his ability on the mic, because the montreal fans still would have reacted strongly to Michaels for his direct involvement in the screwjob, he just egged them on for 15 minutes. That's true but it was still the best promo of 2005 and showed that HBK is one of the best on the mic as a heel. Put aside your bias against Shawn for a minute and watch it again. The crowd reaction went way beyond the typical "You screwed Bret!" chants, it's like they wanted to kill him by the time it was over. When has Shawn ever done a fart joke btw? I just use the "dick and fart joke" phrase to describe his DX promos. I don't plan on watching it again because it's a complete waste of time, there is no creativity or point to it, it is a 15 minute Shawn Michaels ego-fuck. Good guess, I've only been watching since 1992, and Michaels did sex and "potty" humour in DX, which is why I used the phrase, "Dick and fart jokes". It wasn't meant to be taken word-for-word. Boiling Shawn's excellent heel promos in 97 down to sex and potty humor makes me think you've seen very little of DX. Edit: Dear god, I forgot to check your age before.
