Question about the NWA

Recommended Posts

They talk to the group of promoters that call themselves the NWA Board of Directors and strike a deal with them. I think that in turn of being able to book the national NWA champions that you have to pay a fee (don't know if it's per show, per month, per year, etc.) to keep the NWA name.

The membership fee is $2,500 with the only real qualifications being that your promotion must run at least four shows per year.

That's the gist of it. Any of those feds could promote, say, Jeff Jarrett (or the actual NWA champ) defending the belt against their local top guy.

yep he is the world champ but they can technically book him - if they can work out a deal with the TNA offices.

same with tag champs - it's for all of the NWA as well

Does anyone know where that $2,500 fee goes? Into the pockets of the commission or somewhere else?
