I found out about this tonight and wanted to pass it along to the fellow NCers on the board. I'm going to try to cover this for the newspaper; I think it works perfectly for a front page feature story.

 

The Training Camp

February 17,18,19, 2006

 

Elite Pro Wrestling Training's first 3-day camp of the New Year will see Les Thatcher and Dr. Tom Prichard of EPWT being joined for the three days of training by TNA official/scout Terry Taylor at the Shelby Recreation Center.

 

This threesome will be running training in two rings for this three day event sponsored by New Generation Wrestling, with NGW promoting a complete wrestling card in that venue on the evening of 2/17,and in Pickens, SC. the next night 2/18 at the Pickens Recreation Center. The Wrestling Card

 

After a 5 Year Absence, New Generation Wrestling returns to the Historic Shelby Recreation Center in Shelby NC on Friday February, 17 2006 at 8:00 PM. They are presenting a star studded wrestling event titled "The Return Of The Dragon." The Shelby Recreation Center is where NGW held its inaugural event back in 2001. NGW plans to make this show the biggest and the best yet. Already signed thus far to appear are former NWA/WCW World Champion, WWF/WWE Intercontinental Champion and Current WWE Agent Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and a legendary Tag Team Match featuring: The Rock N Roll Express ( Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) versus The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey). This will also mark Ricky Morton's return to wrestling after his 4 month absence. Also another big reunion will take place this night, Former World Tag Team Champions, The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & "White Lightning" Tim Horner) will reunite and take on the tag team of NWA-TNA' s Terry Taylor and "Heavenly Bodies" Dr. Tom Prichard. The Legendary Voice Of The Mid Atlantic, Les Thatcher will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. This is gonna be a historical night of action packed wrestling as NGW returns to Shelby NC on Friday February, 17 2006.
