Guest teke184 Posted February 14, 2002 Report Posted February 14, 2002 I've found Coliseum Video releases of just about every In Your House PPV except for "Good Friends, Better Enemies". Does anyone know what the title of the video is that contains this PPV *IN THE US*? I'd like to get a nice copy of this one for the HBK-Diesel match. (For those who don't know, just about all of the US video releases of IYH PPVs in 1996 and 1997 had no mention of the original name of the PPV on the box or in the title. This is different from the way that British and Australian/NewZealand releases were handled)
Guest Tony149 Posted February 14, 2002 Report Posted February 14, 2002 I don't belive it was released in the U.S.
Guest dreamer420 Posted February 14, 2002 Report Posted February 14, 2002 I'm not sure dude. That is one of the rare PPV's I haven't seen. Go to http://www.angelfire.com/stars/autograph1/index.html and this guy has it for sale. He is also really good to deal with as well.
Guest teke184 Posted February 14, 2002 Report Posted February 14, 2002 The thing is that I have a bootleg of the HBK-Diesel match (not the PPV in its entirety), but I was hoping to get an original of it because of all the deterioration you get once a PPV has reached the 5th or 6th generation.
Guest Tony149 Posted February 14, 2002 Report Posted February 14, 2002 You should check eBay, if you haven't already.
Guest Daredevil21 Posted February 14, 2002 Report Posted February 14, 2002 Well I'm posting since I actually know and am not trying to boost my post count. The PPV was released on WWF Mega Matches '96. I just saw one on ebay a week or so ago. Tough to come by for sure, as I have only seen a handfull of them offered. *Edit* hey Teke, did you bid on Summerslam 88 this week on ebay? I think you did and the person you outbid was......me. Oh well it's up to about $76 now, about $71 to high for me.
Guest teke184 Posted February 14, 2002 Report Posted February 14, 2002 I've been bidding on stuff there, but the only things I've come away with are Spring Explosion 96 (IYH 6), Winter Combat 96 (Parts of IYH 4 and 5), and Wrestlefest 96 (IYH: Beware of Dog). I figure that I might as well try to get some of the IYH PPVs because the video titles mislead people into thinking they're the usual crappy Coliseum Video release instead of a PPV. And, yes, I bid on Summerslam 88 among other tapes, but I didn't know that it would be going higher than $30, let alone $70.
Guest Maurizio C... Version 2 Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 IYH 7 was released with its name: good friend better enemies with a big photo of diesel and a little one of shawn holding the belt.
Guest Daredevil21 Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 That wasn't the one that was released in the USA. The one you are talking about is the PAL version.
Guest eckot420 Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 I'm not sure if my last post went through, so I'll post again..admin if this is a double just delete it. Thanks. I actually happen to have that tape, Mega Matches '96. If anyone wants to see a scan for it just E-Mail me at [email protected]. Thanks Tony
