Now, before peple get all up in arms over this being terrible, I want to let you know that this actually makes perfect sense. I mean it's Devo. These guys opened for a shitty Christian Rock band, did an an album of Elevator Music versions of their songs, and is really more of a prank/art project then a band when you look more into it's past. This is the kind of thing they would want to do: have a bunch of Kids do their songs in an almost Kidz Bop manner. This is actually totally Devo, and I'm not being sarcastic.

Plus, it's got kids singing "Uncontrollable Urge". Too bad they don't sing "Midget" or "Buttered Beauties"

I can hold out hope for a runthrough of "Penetration in the Centerfold."

On the second disc for The Life Aquatic dvd, Mothersbaugh is interviewed in a segment at his studio, discussing the score for the film. What's noteworthy about this is that through most of the piece, he has this incredibly fat pug sitting in his lap.

Maybe that's not noteworthy, but it certainly got a lot of "aaaaawwwwws" out of me.

Do the kids do "Whip It"? Or "Freedom of Choice"? Or "Gut Feeling"? This could be brilliant.

They do sing "Big Mess" and "Uncontrollable Urge". Now if only if they sang "Penetrate the Centerfold". That would be hystarical.

Throw in "Peek-A-Boo!" and I'm sold. Does anyone have a link for that old music video? I haven't seen it in over 20 years, but I remember it being fantastic in it's strangeness.
