Guest Eric the Eagle

Show one: NWF: Kongen på Haugen (King of the Mountain)

Match 1: Gromguten ("the favored son", more or less) beat Gabriel Antonick at 9:01 with Fossefallet (the "Waterfall Plunge" - a double underhook Dominator)).

Match 2: Bjørn Sem beat Sensuelle Rosé ("Sensual Rosé") with the Chokebomb at 5:21.

Match 3: Byron Lawless beat Talentfulle Thomas ("Thomas the Talented") with the Lawbreaker (over the shoulder Piledriver that lands in a slam, basically) at 6:32

Match 4: Erik Isaksen won the Kongen på Haugen match, basically a 15-man Royal Rumble, by eliminating Gromguten at 22:18

Crowd: about 150.

Story development: Bjørn and Byron continue their feud, mostly ignoring everyone in the ring except each other in the Rumble. Bjørn also quite punished Rosé in their match for beating his stablemate Thomas at an earlier show, resulting in Thomas having a date on his hands he really did not want. More later. Thomas, by the way, did not come to ringside with Bjørn.

Kaptein Knoke ("Captain Knuckles") made his debut during a random draw of opponents for the Tag tournament on the next show, which was evidently going nowhere, beat up the offending guy and did the draws in five seconds to a MONSTER pop. He also made it to the final four in the Rumble.

Rainer Hansen returned after suffering three broken ribs and internal bleeding at Betong ("Concrete") last August, getting some measure of revenge by eliminating Geist (part of the responsible party) at the Rumble.

Isaksen will receive a title shot a a later date, likely at Kortslutning ("Circuit Failure") in Summer.

2nd show: Byslagsmål ("Cityfight"). Same date, two and a half hours after final bell on Kongen på Haugen.

Match 1: First tag-semifinal: Isak & Victor - "Fremtiden" ("The Future") vs. Erik Isaksen and Rainer Hansen. Fremtiden won by Top-Rope Legdrop/Toprope Big Splash combo on Hansen at 12:24.

Match 2: Second semi-final: Geist & Falk - Garms Hird ("Garm's Men" in old Norwegian) vs Talentfulle Thomas & Bjørn Sem - The Big Ones (Talentfulle Thomas and Bjørn Sem. The Big Ones won at 9:33 with the Chokebomb by Bjørn.

Match 3: Gromguten vs. Byron Lawless. Ended on interference by Sem, who threw Gromguten aside to get at Lawless, thereby getting Lawless disqualified at 5:47

Match 4: Tag Final: Fremtiden vs. The Big Ones. Fremtiden takes it with Ad Futurum (reverse powerbomb/Ace Crusher combo) at 10:01 for the trophy and the glory.

Match 5: Garm Støylen vs. Jon "Big John" Veivåg for the Norwegian Championship. Big John defended the title at 16:16 with a lariat.

Crowd: 350 (sold out) with some fifty people being turned away at the door.

Story development:

Videos taped during the "date" Rosé had gotten from Thomas by beating him in November were shown throughout, until Thomas' match. Basically, Thomas drank hideous amounts of wine, and as promised, was treated to "Titanic" on video. Rosé came out with Thomas, seemingly to cheerlead him, and Thomas, apparently changing files, stopped Bjørn from beating the Sensual One, gave Rosé a hug... and Emerald Fusioned him. So much for that relationship.

Daniel Sebastian was supposed to be Isaksen's partner, but due to a neck injury he was unable to compete. Hansen, Isaksen's student from '97, replaced him.

Neither Big John nor Garm followed their respective stables (The Big Ones and Garms Hird) to the ring, due to the upcoming title defense. Gothminister, a Norwegian Goth/Darkside artist, followed the Hird instead.

Byron and Bjørn still hate each other.

Garm in an interview at the show's start, said the title didn't mean as much to him as the fact that he would crush another man's dreams and reason for living to obtain it. When Big John interrupted, Garm spat at the belt and left, earning the wrath of pretty much the entire fed
