Ted dibiase

I was just watching some of of Bill Watts' UWF and after seeing Ted DiBiase I couldn't picture him as an all american type of babyface after seeing him for so long as The Million Dollar Man.

 

Is it just me or does Ted make a much better heel than as a babyface?

Heel all the way.  The Million Dollar Man gimmick just made everyone want to hate him.  

 

For some strange reason, my Mom always thought he was cute.

It was just weird, I'd be watching Ted and Doc and I keep waiting for Ted to turn on him and it never happend.

 

I think all those years as The Million Dollar Man spoiled me, its impossible to picture him as a babyface.

I have a hard time accepting him as a face ever in the old days. I mean the guy just looks condescending and heelish, even without all the great character work he did. I have a hard time with either Blanchard or Double A playing the face as well for similar reasons.

I can't ever see Ted DiBiase playing a face.  Of course it was just a gimmick that he had, but he did it so well.

i love the skits he did in his early wwf days.my fave is the one where he tells the kid to dribble the ball X amount of times and he'll give him $100. He gets like 2 away from his goal and DiBiase kicks it away from him. Great heel and a classic moment.

 

i never took him seriously as a manager in wcw.

He offered him I think $400 to dribble a ball 15 times. At 13-14 he kicks it likea  football and laughs in his face.
