Guest CWMwasmurdered Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=...ec=Worldupdates I find that pretty funny.
Art Sandusky Posted May 4, 2006 Author Report Posted May 4, 2006 You know, what you're seeing in Iraq is how the corporate mindset would build a country. That isn't just leftist talk either, it permeates everything they're doing over there. Tell them they're serving in their hometowns and then change it once they graduate? How fuckin' stupid do you have to be to do that?
EricMM Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Have you ever SEEN the applications and sweet-talk jobs the Army has over HERE? Imagine it over there. I wouldn't be surprised if 72 virgins figured into it...
Art Sandusky Posted May 4, 2006 Author Report Posted May 4, 2006 I wonder if recruiters would get better results with honesty and not promises. Not that they fib, I just mean being very straightforward about what being a solider would entail and how difficult it'd be. I feel that would be a better sales pitch, especially if they push the straightening-out effect it can have on many people.
