The Youtube Thread

You know after watching that, they should have just kept HBK face. He was over still, there really was no need for it.

But then we wouldn't have had DX.

I've uploaded Canadian Stampede but youtube is being a bitch about accepting this one.

I loved that. Stossel is the biggest douche on TV, even bigger than Geraldo. Why did 20/20 even bother on reporting on weither pro wrestling is "real" or not?

Just out of curiosity, I posted a promo of Schultz's in the youtube thread, where I claimed to never have heard of him. I assume "Stossel Gets Owned" has something to do with it?

Classic WWF Championsip Wrestling intro.

I would really love to find the intros to Championship and All-Star Wrestling when Bob Backlund was champ.

That was pretty damn cool back in the day. I was watching the MSG channel that night when Hogan won the title.. those were the days..

Damn right. I lived in Brooklyn and I didnt have cable until the early 90's so I missed most of the classic shows. Watching that MSG show makes me wish I lived elswhere growing up.

A japanese wwf Action zone commercial from the 90's.

This aired on raw but i don't remember it, It's a Kurt angle commercial for Pizza Outlet from 96.

Kurt angle "interviews" the rock.

If you liked that, you'll love listening to DX the night after Survivor Series 97. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gcAzSMl1Hc

You know for every bret hart hater like myself, That's a beautiful piece of tape. But ever since that fake christian douche HBK came back, i can't stand him. My favorite part and see if you notice it is when he says, "The wwf is not big enough for both The Heartbreak Kid and Shawn Michaels." lol.

Canadian Stampede parts 1-4.

Such an incredible moment at the end. All the more so knowing what would happen to the Harts over the next few years.

is it me, or was Austin getting a decent reaction from the crowd there? I mean he was mostly getting booed, but seemed to have his share of fans. or maybe its just the footage quality.

Pillman was having a great time out there, you can tell how excited he was, and how much fun he had. Sad to watch now.

anyhow thanks for posting the match, as I havent seen that since it aired.

PS, Howard Finkel with Cowboy Hat: :D

cool, that was the debut of the dx theme and video

bet Rude wasnt happy to be out there, if you recall I thing one of the reasons he jumped to wcw was cuz he

was mad about the screwjob (which is why Bret had so much respect for him on his dvd )

"The WWF wasn't big enough for the Heartbreak Kid and Shawn Michaels" oops, maybe he wa stalking about his ego and him :D

looking at this now, its not like they were "desecrating bret" or anything like that, although he probably was in his mind, on tv is came across as a typical heel promo and was totally in character for shawn

Vince McMahon in the USWA

Vince McMahon being Mr McMahon in 1993.

USWA was bizzarro world in the mid-90s. Every face that Lawler was feuding with would come to Memphis and play heel to Lawler's face character. Even when Lawler invaded ECW, Tommy Dreamer would come to USWA and assume the heel role.

lmao he even had Patterson with him as his stooge then

but it made sense as in the WWF Lawler would make fun of Vince while they announced the matches, but Memphis probably didnt care about the WWF so hes still a face to them

I remember catching a few USWA eps back in 94 or so, and Lawler would pretty much just laugh off his WWF shtick as if he's just doing what he's told in NY.
