Guest Grand Slam Posted June 1, 2002 Report Posted June 1, 2002 Edmonton [dramatic pause] Alberta, Canada. The only place on earth with pesticide and tractor commercials on TV. Not the only place, my friend... not the only place. Heck, the news here still reports on hog, corn and soybean prices. I've seen my share of John Deere commercials... and I know that "Roundup is the only herbicide that is encapsulated in time-release micro-balls." heh heh... I said "balls"... ELM - You going to KotR?
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted June 1, 2002 Report Posted June 1, 2002 I wish I was, Mark, but I'm gonna be out of town...out of the country, actually. I'll be in Japan when that show is happening, which more than makes up for it in my eyes.
Guest CED Ordonez Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 The only place on earth with pesticide and tractor commercials on TV. Yes, but have you ever seen commericials for cock fighting supplements? Yes, I do mean chickens and not penis, mind you. The Philippines have them running rampant on their TV. I had thoughts of hailing from there, however I'm American born and completely unable to form simple sentences in a Filipino dialect, so I said I'm from Cali. But I have no qualms in eating balut...*wonders if anybody here knows what that is, hopefully not*
Guest HVilleThugg Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 Hey Ash, are you anywhere near Allen Park, MI?? Da "just wondering" H
Guest Thoth Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 UCSB. Santa Barbara, California. LA in the summer. Suicide lives here, too. I'd find him, but I'm tired.
Guest TheAntipop Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 IRL, I live 30-35 miles NE of Detroit, about, oh, an hour and a half or two hours from Czar Galatea's pad in London. ... stay away from me. As Ash said, I am from London, Ontario, but because I'm afraid of all things Pokémon, and I'm even more afraid of Americans, and yet even more afraid of Pokémon-loving Americans that know where I live, I'll soon be leaving this little hole. By the end of the summer (I hope) I'll be moving to the glorious city of Montreal, Quebec.
Guest Ash Ketchum Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 Heh... I can't drive yet, G-man, so don't worry.
