Guest Karnage Report post Posted June 1, 2002 Is anyone here a member of the Columbia House DVD club? Ripoff or Good Deals?
Guest starvenger Report post Posted June 1, 2002 I didn't really find it to be a great deal. Given the prices I can get at Future Shop, it works out to about the same. It may be better for box sets, but I dunno for sure...
Guest TheDames7 Report post Posted June 1, 2002 I'm a member, and I got 5 DVD's that were 30 each roughly for free.....so thats 150 I saved. To buy 3 more to fulfill your agreement is a good deal, plus the "discounts" that they give you monthly. Just make sure that you answer their "directors selections" or you'll get fucked with DVD's you dont want at your doorstep. Dames
Guest Report post Posted June 1, 2002 My only problem with Columbia House is the selection. Pretty much every DVD they have that I'm interested in, I already own.
Guest Report post Posted June 2, 2002 dude, go to www.dvdtalk.com and go into their forums sections. They have every columbiahouse code and how to make the most of your membership so basically you pay $90 for 9 dvd's worth probably over $300 . Let me know if that helps --Rob
