Guest NYankees Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I have decided to trade in my left over dvd collection to blockbuster and just take store credit. Do they sell dvd's and video games? It's been years since I have ever been in a blockbuster.
Hawk 34 Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 That's basically 95% of most blockbusters, selling Video Games and DVD's. Most Blockbuster's have GameCrazy sidestores where they sell new/used games. I don't think they even rent movies that much anymore.
Guest NYankees Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 OO ok, cool. I just want to trade in some dvd's for The Godfather.

I thought they were at hollywood video only?

Guest NYankees Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 I traded in a whole bunch of dvd's and I got the store credit put onto a gift card. Now I am selling the gift card on ebay. I got 5 dollars back per dvd which is alot more than I would have made off of ebay, or amazon or half.com. Now all I have to do is mail off a gift card instead of dealing with waiting for a bunch of dvd's to be sold for like 2 dollars on amazon. Thanks for telling me about blockbuster buying back dvd's, they took everything I had.
spman Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 The Blockbuster sidestore is called Gamerush, and there are far fewer Blockbuster stores that have them then there are Hollywood Video stores without a Gamecrazy. I think the Gamerush thing is currently mostly in the mid-west, and hasn't really expanded that far yet.
