I loved the first couple of seasons of American Gladiators, before they came up with events that were way too ridiculously complicated and contrived later on.  And didn't a couple of wrestlers used to moonlight as the gladiators?

It does look like it sometimes, doesn't it?  IIRC, Tim Washington from RollerJam was an alternate Gladiator, so that's somewhat close...

The one thing that poped into my head is why they haven't been advertising it.  If it were a new show, then it would obviously be hyped to the hills.  I don't mind reruns of the old show.

i watched american gladiators this morning before work.  i really missed that show i tell ya.  the assault game is easily the coolest.
