Guest mesepher Report post Posted June 2, 2002 I've seen photos of Fire Pro D and it looks so so awesome.. but what do you need to play it? how about the Playstation version? also... I have FP for the GBA downloaded but resizing the window screws up the resolution in the emulator I use... anyone know of a full screen one?
Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted June 2, 2002 For the PS, it needs to either have a Mod chip, or one of those things that plugs in the back. I honestly don't know what it's called, but it acts like a Mod chip, in as much as it allows you to play burned games. No help on anything else though. Sorry brother. Guest Flyboy Report post Posted June 2, 2002 I use BoycottAdvance to play my GBA games... mostly FP. I think I got it from Zophar's Domain (run a search on it), but I'm not sure.... sorry.
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted June 2, 2002 I use VisualBoy Advance for my Fire Pro A needs, and it works great. I've never tried resizing the window, though, and I don't know if I'd recommend it because it probably *would* screw up the resolution. As for the Dreamcast, this is what you need: a) A Dreamcast b) Fire Pro D c) a boot CD, which you can probably find in any gaming store. If you have a friend who has one, and you have a CD-R burner and CloneCD, you can just make a copy of it with CloneCD (which is what I did). d) OPTIONAL: a bunch of VMUs or a Nexus card for all the stuff you can download from gswf.org (new moves, CAWs, logos, etc..) Guest Karnage Report post Posted June 2, 2002 I have a burnt Fire Pro D that doesn't require any mod chips or boot disks...but it has no background music and is missing a lot of stuff.
Guest Report post Posted June 4, 2002 I have a complete version of Fire Pro D that I dowloaded off DirectConnect - (I've also recently got Nhl 2k2, Tennis 2k2 and a few others too). You don't need a boot cd for newer rips of dreamcast games.
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted June 4, 2002 Incidentally, if anyone wants a copy of my Visual Boy Advance Fire Pro A save game file (for the Japanese version), let me know. I've beaten Showman style (which unlocks the hidden WWF wrestlers), Stoic style (unlocks the hidden MMA fighters), Lucha style (um, lucha wrestlers), and Hardcore style (garbage wrestlers like Abdullah, Tiger Jeet Singh, etc). Plus, I've renamed all the wrestlers to their real names.
Guest Report post Posted June 4, 2002 Can you get Fire Pro for GBA in the states, like...I dunno...Electronics Boutique or Target? Or is it only in Japan? What?
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted June 5, 2002 Fire Pro A is for GBA, yes...
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted June 5, 2002 Yeah, there are two versions of Fire Pro A. An American version (which you should be able to find in most stores that stock GBA games), and a Japanese version. The main difference between the two is that in the US version, the American wrestlers are completely pallette-swapped, so Steve Aust...I mean, "The Bionic Man" Steve Majors, is wearing white tights, X-Pa...oops, I mean "The Crybaby" Cole Pena, is wearing a red top & blue pants instead of his usual green DX outfit, etc.. In the Japanese version, they all look like they're supposed to (Austin-black tights, Hogan-yellow crap, etc).
Guest Report post Posted June 5, 2002 If you're going to get any of the Fire Pros then you should get D for the Dreamcast, it's got everything the others have and all you need is a game shark and the game to play it, you just put the game shark in, wait for it to get to the home screen, open the DC and put the game in. Guest Report post Posted June 5, 2002 So... can someone give me an entire list of the wrestlers and the people that they represent? Is Jericho in it? What?
