For My First Post...

For the last few weeks I’ve had the pleasure of reading this forum. I wanted to commend those of you who are active on this thing. This is by far the most comical, intriguing, and awe-inspiring wrestling forum I’ve come across on the internet. I have never met anyone outside of the internet who discusses “sports entertainment” and the professional aspects that no one seems to reward…

 

Example; this is an accurate conversation with someone I know personally who watches WWE programming:

 

Me: “The angles in the WWE’s programming are lacking substance and flavor.”

Mr. X: “ I don’t know about that. Cena is hella tight fool! He had got to be the best wrestler in the last five years. Did you see that match at Wrestlemania?!? I got his album in my car right now.”

 

Yet another conversation that actually happened today:

 

Me: “I think it’s interesting that the only angle I hold any interest for, in the Raw brand, is the Mickie James / Trish Stratus one. The match last Sunday was not even that bad. Mickie James is one of the better, if not the best, athlete of all the WWE Divas.”

Mr. XX: “Yeah, whatever. Did you see what that b*tch Mickie was wearing!?! That skirt was killing me!! She still ain’t finer than that playboy Diva though…”

 

I mean don’t get me wrong… I love to watch absolutely stunning woman, in scantly dressed clothes, parade around the ring. To a certain extent, I think wrestling is a bit more entertaining with them… yet I would prefer a roster full of athletic cute women (Mickie) than supermodel women who primarily serves as eye candy (Candice).

 

Anyhow… I just wanted to say I’ve had an interesting time getting to read some of your post. They’ve been a breathe of fresh “smart mark” air. Now that I have actually created an account, I look forward to contributing every once in a while to your little online community.
