Holyfield/Rahman

Recommended Posts

Holyfield "accidentally" headbutted Rahman, and Rahman starts to swell up like mad.  It literally looked like he had a hockey puck growing in his forehead.  Nasty.

Here's a picture: Rahman's new head

Maybe Holyfield took him out afterward for a Mike's Hard Iced Tea

That's why Holyfield only has one ear.

Guest What?!

Holy crap! That's huge. When, you said "hockey puck" I thought you were exaggerating, but hell, that looks bigger than a hockey puck.

I just officaially jumped on Tysons side. I would've bitten his ear off too.

That is one weird looking picture.

Holyfield has always been a dirty fighter even as a cruiser. Not on the Tyson level but sneaky, elbows, thumbs, headbutts and low blows are a staple diet of Holyfield matches when he gets in trouble.

Maybe God tells him he can do it.

If you watch the tape, Holyfield had head butted him at least once in every round during that fight.  If you watch Holyfield-Tyson 2 you see at least 4 or 5 Holyfield headbutts as well.

Holyfield is a cheap bastard. All he does is headbutt to open a cut and then attack the illgotten cut.  Holyfield lost an ear for that shit and someone will probably hurt him worse as he gets older and less mobile.

Finally, people are starting to see the light. Holyfield has been a dirty fighter for a while. In fact, he bit a guy's shoulder back in amateurs. Rahman said he thinks Holyfield has a steel plate in his head, whcih I wouldn't discount when you consider how hard it is to knock him out and how deadly his head has become lately.

Remember back when Tyson bit off Holyfield's ear and he said his children would be afraid of him if he let Holyfield keep head-butting him? Sometimes I wonder why everyone thinks Tyson is stupid.

Tyson said his kids would be afraid when he walked in the house with that huge-ass cut over his eye. That makes perfect sense to me.

If you were a kid and you saw someone looking like Rahman, would you be afraid?

I don't know why Rahman kept coming inside with Holyfield he knew he was going to get butted. He should've stayed outside and worked him with the jab. It was a decent fight though, hopefully there will be a rematch. Dirty fighter or not Holyfield was in awesome shape.

It's the ref's job to stop Holyfield from headbutting though.

"It's the ref's job to stop Holyfield from headbutting though."

No question about it, but even if Holyfield wasn't butting I think Rahman's best chance to win was to work the jab from the outside.
