Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 EBay Auction Anyone that would drink that would be crazy.
Guest redbaron51 Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 If you thought that was crazy, I saw a regular box of Kraft Dinner nearly hitting 20 bucks American.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 i wouldnt pay 99 cents when it came out, im not paying 13 now
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 This reminds me. I bought some Jones Soda yesterday. Strawberry Carrot and Apple Tea. Im gonna review them, because I have nothing better to do.Jones Soda
Guest areacode212 Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 Sounds good. I've never had a Jones soda before, and Strawberry Carrot sounds like the kind of oddball blend I would go for. Maybe I'll do a review of Orangina Rouge.
Guest Invader3k Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 You know, when Crystal Pepsi was around I actually kind of liked it. Granted, I don't miss it a lot or anything, but I didn't think it was as bad as most people say. I think Pepsi shouldn't have marketed it as a "Pepsi" product though. They should've given it its own unique name.
Guest dreamer420 Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 it wasn't really 20 years ago that this stuff came out was it?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 No. More like 10 or 12. Sometime around 1990, give or take.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted June 4, 2002 Report Posted June 4, 2002 Mark4steamboat's right, it was 92-93, and maybe up to 94... no way the bottle on eBay was 20 years old. I actually don't remember it as being that bad... I actually liked it at the time.
Guest dreamer420 Posted June 4, 2002 Report Posted June 4, 2002 it didn't sound right to me either. i could remember buying the stuff when I was younger, but I thought 1 years old was a little too young for me.
Guest Kinetic Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 I liked Crystal Pepsi, personally. I also liked Virgin Cola enough to go on a weekly two mile trek to buy some until my local Target stopped stocking it. And, if given the option, I'll almost always choose RC Cola over Coke or regular Pepsi. I consider myself a sort of saint when it comes to underappreciated colas.
Guest dreamer420 Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 i didn't mind the stuff either. regular pepsi is still the best out there but the crystal pepsi was a nice change when it was available. didn't they use a van halen song in all of the commercials?
Guest nothing9999 Posted June 14, 2002 Report Posted June 14, 2002 Yeh they did. It was "right here'right now" nothing9999
