FroGG_NeaL 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 Whatever happen to that teen drama on the WB about the kids going to live with their aunt (Rebecca, Full House) on the beach after their parents get killed in a car wreck? The blonde kid on the show is a pop star now. I remember watching a few episodes and then I went to DirecTV and lost the WB. Yeah, yeah! Aunt Becky was lookin' good too. The show could have possibly been good. It was just finding itself, alittle bit at a time.

Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted April 23, 2006 I just finished reading Kevin Smith's "Me and My Shadow," a 9-part story about Jason Mewes' battle with drug addiction. If you're a fan, it's definitely worth reading. I ended up reading the whole thing in a single sitting. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Links to the remaining 6 parts are available at the site (under "Daily Posts").

The blonde kid on the show is a pop star now. I remember watching a few episodes and then I went to DirecTV and lost the WB. The show is called Summerland, its on HDNet in reruns and the pilot airs tomorrow at 1:30pm. I only know this cause I watch HDNet a lot. They're going to be airing Dead Like Me starting May 3rd as well which I've always heard people talk about but never seen cause Showtime isn't worth 5 rusty pennies. HDNet is turning into the failed show Rerun Channel especially those from FOX, only its in HD..so its somewhat worth watching..I mean Greg the Bunny, Life on a Stick, A Minute with Stan Hooper..those are on later this morning.. That and Art Mann is fucking awesome with his uncensored show. I mean, anytime someone can do a show about Turtle Racing, Pornstar Karaoke and Chicken and Waffles..its awesome. gWIL 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2006 I always expected Jen Lindley to be the hollywood ditz screw-up instead of Joey Potter. Pacey, needs to kick Tom's ass. What has Jack been up to? And Dawson? And Pacey? Season 1 was about as perfect of a season 1 a season 1 can be. My favorite plotline though was Jack/Joey.

Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2006 The McPhee's were intro'd in Season 2. Andie McPhee, left the show and the story was that she was moving to Paris full-time. Jack (Kerr Smith), remained a key part of the show til the very end. Joshua Jackson, has done some movies most "notably" Racing Stripes and Cursed. He will be in a movie based on the RFK assassination directed by Emilo Estevez. Van Der Beek(Dawson) hasn't done much of anything since DC ended. He appeared in some decent movies like Varsity Blues, Jay and Silent Bob, Scary Movie, Rules of Attraction but that was during DC's run. Kerr Smith (Jack) has done a shit-load of tv work (Charmed and E-Ring). Meredith Monroe (Andie), also has done mainly tv work (Criminal Minds, House, Cold Case). gWIL 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2006 I don't think Jack and his sister (forgot her name) were introduced until Season 2. They weren't. I meant that my favorite plotline throughout the series was the Jack/Joey - Jack is gay plot. Season 1 is my favorite season as a whole though.
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2006 I found a solid little deal going on at deepdiscountdvd.com (well, it actually starts on May 2nd). There are some two-disc sets going on sale for $10.38, including Magnolia, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Space Jam. I don't know what else goes for the price, but I snatched up Magnolia. Guest Arnold_OldSchool Report post Posted April 27, 2006 I first saw it in 1997 or 8 and had no idea who Any of the 4 leads were or any of the story, so as i watched it, i had no idea who was likely to live or die, or that I would see Inbreds dancin' to banjos and sodomy I was shocked, emotionally and drained with it all and fell in love with the movie Now Burt and Jon are 2 of my favorites. DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2006 Colbert was the final speaker at the 2006 White House Correspondents' Dinner, which was broadcast on C-SPAN. Staying in his "conservative talk show host" character, he directed a torrent of ironic humor at Bush, with whom he shared the dais. Examples of his roasts included: "I stand by this man because he stands for things. Not only for things, he stands on things, like aircraft carriers, rubble and recently flooded city squares. And that sends a strong mesasge that no matter what happens to America she will always rebound with the most powerfully staged photo ops in the world!" and, after denying that the administration was rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, "this administration is not sinking, this administration is soaring! If anything, they are rearranging the deck chairs on the Hindenburg!" He also took shots at John McCain, wiretapping, the Iraq War and the press in general. He ended with a montage of reporter Helen Thomas asking repeatedly why the U.S. had invaded Iraq. Both the President and First Lady were visibly irritated at the performance and the crowd appeared to be shocked
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2006 I am watching this David Alan Grier stand up and it has to be the unfunniest stand up I have ever seen. His career highpoint had to be McHales Navy.

Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2006 You're both wrong. His three-minute appearance as a lawyer in Freeway 2: Confessions of a Trickbaby tops the list. In the middle of a crowded waiting area his female client, who is handcuffed to the bench she's sitting on, jerks him off while his jacket is kept over his crotch. RepoMan 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2006 In Forrest Gump, did Jenny die of AIDS? And if-so, does that meant Forrest and Forrest Jr. have AIDS? Jenny died of AIDS. She mentions that Forest Jr. was tested and was fine. I guess that does mean that Forest Sr should get tested.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2006 "There's a swiss chalet commercial up here that I despise with all my being. It features a chick walking into the restaurant and a waitress saying "welcome home". The sentimentality is laid on thick and in doing so it has absolutely no emotion at all.
