Comments that which don't warrant a thread

I've been in a real sci-fi kinda mood recently, but I'm mainly after bad sci-fi movies.

Can anyone suggest some to me?

Cherry 2000, Virus, The Day after Tomorrow. All kinds of levels of bad. Cherry 2000 is "Campy Bad", meaning it's enjoyable, Virus is "Just Plain Bad", and Day After Tomorrow is "So Bad it's a laugh riot."

You can never go wrong with Species. Nothing like a movie where the guy you cast for the hero is Michael Madsen.

Species actually wasn't THAT bad...Species 2, though, yow!

In the "bad but still kick ass" category: The Wraith and Starship Troopers

Wraith is a good movie until Sheen tries to act and his "brother" does that over the top crying streak at the end. To this day the ending makes NO god damn sense to me. Him and the girl turn into stars? What? I thought he was a ghost!

And Species fits in that "Bad but still good for some reason" category. Species 2 though...that was a crime against humanity.

Johnny Mnemonic was bad, but shit, it was a shame, because it had some super cool elements.

I like horror and sci fi which a half step above porn, so Species is always good. Even Species 2 is watchable.

Good bad sci fi: the Cube sequels (the orginal Cube is awesome). I tend to class the Resident Evil series as such as well.

Anyone see those "Moment of Truth" game show commercials? It starts on the 23rd on Fox and it looks to be pretty damn interesting.

I'd add the Core to that.

Johnny Nemonic is a bad film

Species is a (pretty) bad film

Starship Troopers on the other hand is all kinds of awesome.

Hey, when was "Radio" added to this folder? Shouldn't that be in Music?

Must have been added last night. Cause it wasn't there when I visited yesterday afternoon but when I came back from Boston, it was.

I don't see the need to add Radio to this folder. I mean how often do we have discussions about radio? Once? Maybe twice a year?

Stardust wasn't really anything like Princess Bride. It's an ok film for what it is. Robert DeNiro as a gay pirate captain who dances around in a petticoat with a pink feather fan is one of the more interesting moments you'll ever sit through.

I worked on a short film with Charlie Cox from Stardust a few months back. Proper nice bloke.

Gemma Arterton was also in the film and she's just been confirmed as the next Bond girl.

As much as I love Conan, Dave will always be my favorite Late Night host.

Conan looks like he should be in an Irish pub somewhere challenging a man to a fight over the football match on television. Dave looks like he's one step from Santa Claus.

Gotta go with Santa but Conan is awesome.

Conan wins, because of it's Firey texture.

But the reason I stopped in here, I was sick yesterday and just had the slew of Judge Shows on that FOX shows in the mid-afternoon and Chyna was on Christine's Court suing over some Tea Cup Chihuahuas she paid for but never received, the defense was brilliant. "When we found out that it was a wrestler who wanted them we wanted more money." That was the defense, then the lady complained that Chyna got preferential treatment, no, she paid you the price you where asking for the dogs, dogs which she didn't get. Classic.

If it didn't have a five minute pause where the judge just stared at the woman while no one said anything then I'd be disappointed.

Conan wins because I didn't think he had it in him to actually grow one.

Yea I guess he was kidding us all those years, at least he gets it to connect to his moustache, I cant even do that (Though for some reason my beard always comes in mostly red, despite having brown hair)

Well one, is there an American Gladiators thread? I searched for one, but pretty much every thread in the forum came up for whatever reason..

But anywyas, couldn't help but notice one of the new Gladiators is Justice Smith, of (Tough Enough 'fame'). Just a random bit of information I thought was interesting.

The digital cable channel Soapnet plays 2 hours of The OC every weekday, from 3-5. It's a damn good show, with great writing and enough to cater to a pretty broad demographic, which I guess explains its success (for the first season or two, at least).
