Ring of Honor Tapes

I dont' know if this is true, but there's a rumor that RF Video put some kind of blockage on the Ring of Honor tapes where you can't dub a copy. Can they do this? Cause I know the record industry wanted that done but they couldn't because of the freedom of being able to make compilations. If RF did do this, is there ways around it to make bootlegs. Cause I don't wanna have to buy a copy... plus if I did, I would want to make compilations (such as Best of 2002 tapes and such) Any info on this I would appreciate.
