Guest Risk Report post Posted June 3, 2002 Imagin. You control the entire RAW brand: RAW, Heat, the roster titles, ect al. What would you do? Here are some things I'd do. Roster changes Rob Van Dam-I would stop calling him the "Whole Dam Show" and start him the "Whole F'n Show." Justin Credible-Not going to get over and is a glorified jobber. Terminated. Terri-A waste of space and money. Terminated. The Undertaker-Forced retirement. X-Pac-Backstage politician and member of the Kliq. Terminated. Kevin Nash-Lazy, unmotivated, overpaid, backstage politician, and member of the Kliq. Terminated. Tommy Dreamer-Terrible gimmick and has been made to be a joke. Not able to perform in the ring anymore. Numerous injuries. Forced retirement. Bradshaw-Not much talent, unover, terrible gimmick. Termination. Steven Richards-I would repackage him, maybe change his ringname to "Dude Love." Could work good as a manager or commentator. Maybe form a tag team with Crash. Crash-Should drop the "Holly" name and wear better tights. Could possibly form a good tag team. Kane-New gimmick, new outfit, new music. The Bossman-Forced retirement. William Regal-Would make a good manager and maybe a commentator. Big Show-Has potential and is a rare size. Keep him but have him train more. Jacqueline-I'd make her a trainer for female developmental talent. Steve Austin-A big draw and a talented wrestler when motivated. I believe if the politics of Triple H and Stephanie ever end, he'll be more motivated. Spike-I'd have him drop the "Dudley" name and just have him be "Spike." I would also have him bulk up a bit. Jazz-I'd change nothing, she just needs to heal up. Bubba Ray-Needs to distance himself from the "Dudley Boyz" stigma and find his own personality. Be the Bubba Ray of ECW, just without D-Von. Needs to stop wearing shirts that say "3-D." Shawn Stasiak-His gimmick has done the one thing that he's always had trouble with: A reaction from the crowd. Raven-Time is almost up as a wrestler. Is a must have as a booker/writer. Would also make a good manager and/or commentator. The Hardys/Matt and Jeff-Should just call themselves "the Hardys." Need to gain the "dark" edge they had while in the Brood. Lose all the glow in the dark shirts and the painted hair. Would be a good team for Raven to manage. Brock Lesnar-So far so good. Once Heyman has given him enough of the "rub," I would set him free. Maybe make Heyman a commentator. Paul Heyman-So far so good. Once he is done with Brock he would make a good commentator. Great mind for the business. Jim Ross-I would take him away from the announce table and television. Jerry Lawler-Forced retirement. Trish Stratus-Keep as is, with less gimmick matches. Would be a good WWE female to pose for Playboy. Molly-Drop the "Holly" name and Regal. Goldust-I'd keep him with Booker T, maybe calling themselves the "Hollywood Blondes." Booker T-See above. Maybe dye his hair blonde. Eddie Guerrero-I'd push him as a main eventer AND IC level contender. D'Lo Brown-Keep as is. Lita-Name change, distance from the Hardys, maybe sent to OVW or HWA. Coach-Keep as is with less shilling and recaping. Titles I would nix the Euro and Hardcore title. What would YOU do if you were in control of the RAW brand? Guest Report post Posted June 3, 2002 If I were running Raw, I would use everyone to the best of their abilities, not firing anyone. Fantasy booking isn't for me, though. That said, I would move the nWo to Smackdown, trading them for Angle, Jericho and Benoit. Also, I would work the cruiser division into Raw, thus making it no longer necessary for people with my tastes to watch Smackdown. (I told you fantasy booking isn't my thing.) Forget twenty minute interviews...put people over in little backstage interviews...you don't need people to come out and talk for twenty minutes about something you can sum up in five. Give each match AT LEAST five minutes. Let your young guys show some talent in the ring to get themselves over, and then let them either jawjack the fans after the match or before the match to his or her opponent to get face heat. It's simple wrestling. Right now, let RVD keep the title. Give him KOR, and then build to Austin/Benoit, POSSIBLY at KOR, if he's cleared. If not, give Austin a shot at Guerrero at KOR, full of Benoit-ference, and then build to the tag match at the July PPV, and then at Summerslam, Blow-off matches between RVD/Guerrero, and then Austin/Benoit. No kooky interviews, let Goldust and Booker feud, let Raven, Dreamer, Kanyon, and Richards rebuild the Flock, and then let the nWo get swallowed up in their own stupid brand of politics.
