Guest Report post Posted June 4, 2002 I dunno, I jsut had this idea don't know how it could be possibly developed in storylines...And it's probably been done, but hey it's better than a lot of crap that's been getting done nowadays, so let's give this one a shot... Just have a heel champ (an up-and-comer, not a freshly turned HHH or Taker, somemore along the lines of Jericho) be an absolute and ridiculous asshole to everyone, face or heel. When the crowd starts chanting "Asshole! Asshole!" as they always do, he can start getting on his knees and going THANK YOU! YES! I LOVE YOUR ADORATION! And since everyone on the roster hates him, they all continuously go after him and his title, but somehow, someway, he always manages to escape while at the same time rubbing it in people's faces that yes, he is an asshole, and yes, he is still the champ. Jericho or Angle would be absolutely AWESOME doing this particular shtick, and it'd be fun as hell to watch the heel in compelte paranoia of everyone on both shows. Even if an interviewer (say someone who might be able to take a bump..I heard Coach might be able to) aproaches them, the champ would be paranoid they're being set-up and just whack them with a nearby object of some sort. I think this would make watching wrestling real fun since you never know what's going to happen to the champ, and also would help get the guy over by having everyone against him but still being able to keep the title, WITHOUT stupid run-ins, or stables (I'm looking at YOU, HHH and D-X), or McMahon interference. If the guy ever lost the title, noone would want to give him a shot since everyone hates him (including Vince), so I'm not sure how that'd work, but it'd be fun to watch paly out.
