Guest Report post Posted June 4, 2002 Austin is basically the only face on Raw and he is in a feud with Flair, so who do the nWo have to feud with? RVD? I can't see that lasting very long. They need to turn some people face on RAW badly.
Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted June 4, 2002 In time... Booker T. Now? Bradshaw and jobber x. Who knows, maybe with the return of HBK, they'll turn face entirely and feud with Flair's group?
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted June 4, 2002 They seem like they are headed towards being a face/tweener/"cool" stable. Booker T is obviously drawing face reactions. Nash is posing for the crowd and acting cool, HBK will be over due to the "return factor", Big Show flip-flops so much no one cares, and so only X-Pac is left as a really disliked member. X-Pac leave the nWo? That'll never happen, not with Shawn and Kev around.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted June 4, 2002 "What? X-Pac leave the nWo? That'll never happen, not with Shawn and Kev around." That's not what I meant. I meant that the nWo could be a face group because even if the fans dislike X-Pac, if they like Nash, HBK, and Booker T, they will cheer the group. In other words, X-Pac's negative heel heat isn't as strong as their combined positive face heat.

Sounds interesting. Has that been done before?
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted June 4, 2002 Well, if you consider the Alliance angle, everyone in the WWF was a face except for X-Pac, who got booed against Kidman. And people might cheer (or at least ignore) X-Pac if he's coming out with Nash and Shawn.
Guest Risk Report post Posted June 4, 2002 Eh, X-Pac can be over with the fans again. He can be the guy the group always rags on, like Booker T. always calling him a "greesy rat."
Guest Risk Report post Posted June 4, 2002 The NWO, no matter if the fans love or hate them, should remain rulebreakers. After all, DX got a positive response from the fans, but their motto was "you make the rules, we break 'em."
Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted June 4, 2002 Wow, he's incredible. He defies the laws of wrestling physics. You know, I'm a huge Waltman fan. At Axxess this past March, I opted out on waiting in line for Austin's autograph so that I could wait in line for X-Pac instead. I regret it a little now, but the guy took the time to personalize autographs, even though he wasn't supposed to. And even though he's a very dark shadow of his former self, I still get a kick out of seeing him weekly on Raw with his geekish mannerisms, the Kane mask, and his poor use of ebonics. Guest Patorick Report post Posted June 4, 2002 I've got to say X-Pac hasn't been sucking as much as he used to, since joining the nwo. Wearing the Kane mask, as if to say "I Crippled Kane!!", is pretty funny...
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted June 4, 2002 I have to say X pac is not as terrible as people here make him out to be. His character is in need of an overhaul because he is stale, but his in ring work is just as good as any of the cruisers on tv right now, IMO.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted June 4, 2002 The nWo could become a babyface stable -- similar to DX in 1998 -- if... 1) Kane comes back and kills X-Pac 2) Goldust joins in X-Pac's place 3) Booker, Nash, and Michaels stay in their current characters 4) Big Show loses the facial hair and the singlet and turns for the 56th time. Guest Report post Posted June 4, 2002 Well jesus christ, all we need is Scott Hall back, and to turn HHH heel and booyah there's the Kliq right there. Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, and HHH...Now THAT'S a fearsome heel stable, only because you're putting someone who not only can draw, but can wrestle too. And I'm talking about HHH here, believe it or not. As long as he's a heel, he's a better wrestler.. In fact, maybe I'm the only one who notices this, but it seems that when someone becomes a face they stop wrestling great...It's happened to everyone, HHH, Austin, Angle, hell even..Nah, not Jericho (remember the Jericho/Benoit ladder match? Yes folks JERICHO IS GOD!). And the WWF has fucked with Big Show's character so much they might as well jsut cut him because he's like a black hole when it comes to crowd heat, he sucks in everything and everyone around him to not get over. I say, let's not have the Big Show wrestle anymore. I think it would be cool to use him like ECW used 9-1-1, and for Big Show to say screw werestling man, I've had I'm bored with it. It's always lumber around the ring, chokeslam, too easy, and noone likes me. Then up pops someone who would use him in the 911 role. Boom, there it is. Guest Redhawk Report post Posted June 4, 2002 One reason that babyfaces don't seem to wrestle as well as heels is that heels are supposed to dictate the match. Look at The Rock's matches: Rock kicks ass for the first minute, then the heel cheats to take over. The next several minutes are of the heel kicking Rock's ass, and then Rock "hulks up" and comes back for the win. That's why every wrestler that gets praised for their technical work is usually a heel (Lance Storm, Chris Benoit, HHH in 2000, Jericho in 2002, Ric Flair, etc.). Bret Hart was one of the few technical wrestlers to be a babyface most of the time.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted June 4, 2002 They are probably bound for Smackdown at some point to feud w/ HHH.
Guest Risk Report post Posted June 5, 2002 I think everyone should be a heel, just some heels should be more "heelish" than others. That would make me happy, because babyfaces suck.
