IE6 Problem

Recently my internet explorer has decided to prevent me from going on forums and some internet sites, it doesn't come up with an error message, just a done message in the bottom left corner, and a blank screen... I'm using firefox at the moment in order to access this forum, but was wondering if anyone knows how I can fix my original browser?
