Guest Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 I used to have Darkhawk #1, Hulk 2099 #1, Sleepwalker #1 and Venom #1.
Guest gthureson Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 Punisher #1 X-Factor #1 Classic X-Men #1 Silver Surfer #1 Ghost Rider #1 Silver Sable #1 (Whee!) Spider-Man #1 Guardians of the Galaxy #1 (That'll be worth something. Booyah.) Hellstorm #1 Nightstalkers #1 Spirits of Vengence #1 There is a couple of other ones kicking around. Nothing special. Series that only last like 30 issues, so its not a big deal to have #1.
Guest areacode212 Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 I have a bunch of #1's from new & recent series (the MAX stuff, etc). I don't think I have anything all that special. Of series that have lasted a while, here's what I've got, off the top of my head: JLA #1 (Morrison) JSA #1 Justice League #1 (Giffen/DeMatteis/Maguire) Thunderbolts #1 Avengers #1 (Busiek) Lucifer #1 Promethea #1 Tom Strong #1 X-Factor #1 Spider-Man #1 (the McFarlane one that everyone went nuts over) Umm...and a whole bunch more that I can't remember right now. I like to collect TPBs, especially for series that I "discover" after they've become hits (and whose early issues are harder to find). So I've got the early Preacher, Sandman, Starman, Astro City, etc.. in TPB format.
Guest Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 i have sabertooth number one (signed) and iron man number one not the sun burst cover though(singedha...ha) and although it's not a number one, it's still the first issue by that perticular peciler, iron man number 29 (signed ha ha... :cough: HA)
Guest Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 Oh yeah, forgot about Avengers numero uno and I too had the McFarlane Spidey #1.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 Hmmmmm...the only #1's that stand out in my stuff are: X-Men #1 (Blue Team v. Magneto, first of the X-Men "Brand Extension") X-Force #1 Witchblade #1 (a total random buy)
Guest starvenger Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 Too many to count. Here's a selected few: New Warriors v1 (regular and gold) and v2... eXiles Ultimates X-Men v2... all five of 'em KB's Astro City v1 and v2 Bloodshot v1 Quantum and Woody and, regrettably, the Rob Liefeld Cap (v3?) and Avengers v2... the less said about those, the better.
Guest Sassquatch Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 Most of my older comics were all given to me from my grandfather who was a huge comic book fan back when he was younger. Lucky enough for me, he took care of his comics and they are in amazing condition considering how old they are. My dad was also a HUGE Marvel comics fanboy when he was growing up and was devoted to Marvel and DC as well back in his day. Luckily, I have kept the legacy going and someday I will pass down my collection of comics to my children if they ever choose to become comic book fans. Batman #1 Superman #1 (1st series) Wonder Woman #1 (1st series) Sensation Comics #1 (1st Wonder Woman) Adventures Into the Unknown #1 All-Star Comics #1 All-Flash #1 Flash Comics #1 All-Select Comics #1 Amazing Spider-Man #1 (1st series) Amazing Fantasy #15 (1st Spider-Man) Fantastic Four #1 (1st series) Iron Man #1 (1st series) Tales of Suspense #39 (1st Iron Man) Avengers #1 X-Men #1 (1st series) Blue Beetle #1 (1st series) Justice League of America #1 Bulletman #1 Captain America Comics #1 (one of my most prized comics) Captain Marvel (1st series, Marvel version Swamp Thing #1 (1st series) Daredevil #1 (1st series) Daring Mystery Comics #1 Defenders #1 (1st series) Incredible Hulk #1 (1st series) Marvel Spotlight #5 (1st Ghost Rider) Giants-Size X-Men #1 Green Lantern #1 (1st series) Invaders #1 Leading Comics #1 Metal Men #1 (1st series) Miss America Comics #1 Spectre #1 Ms.Marvel #1 (1st series) Spider-Woman #1 (1st series) The Sub-Mariner #1 (2nd series) Teen Titans #1 (1st series) Spectacular Spider-Man #1 (1st series) Superboy #1 (1st series) Supergirl #1 (1st series) Tex Morgan #1 Two-Gun kid #1 Vamperilla #1 (1st series) Ultimate Spider-Man #1 (white and red covers) Ultimate X-Men #1 Ultimates #1 Web of Spider-Man #1

Guest KoR Fungus Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Hmm, I think I can probably remember most of mine off the top of my head, my collection isn't very big... Giant Size X-Men #1 Wolverine #1 (1982) Wolverine #1 (1988) Silver Surfer #1 (1968) X-Men #1 (1991) New Mutants #1 Generation X #1 Hmm I guess that's it. I could have sworn I had Warlock and the Infinity Watch #1, but it seems to have disappeared, oh well.
Guest Austin3164life Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I have a shitload of #1's that are worth anywhere from $22-200......but...... My dad bought Uncanny X-Men #1 back when it first came out for $0.15. Now it's worth something like 5-6 thousand dollars I believe, so that's the most valuable #1 comic I have......
Guest Some Guy Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I used to collect back in the early 90s so i have most of the #1s from then, like Spawn, Robin, and whatever else.
