Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted June 5, 2002 Do you really think the Spoilers actually spoil the show good or not? I seriously believe I would enjoy the show 10x better if I didn't read the spoilers. I'm already discussing pros and cons on the board before the show comes on. What about you? Do you think you could enjoy Smackdown if you watched it as if it were live? I think I could. Problem is, I can't bring myself not to. When I look for Keith's Raw rant on Wednesday and the Spoilers are ready and waiting, I can't help myself. I'll definetly not read them next week. Who's with me? Guest RicFlairGlory Report post Posted June 5, 2002 Talk about the most pointless post ever. How can we be with you anyways? You're undecided
Guest Report post Posted June 5, 2002 Nope! Clicking on a Site (usually 411Wrestling) and seeing the Smackdown! Spoiler is like walking down the street and seeing a $20 bill on the ground. I jump at it.
Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted June 5, 2002 How can we be with you anyways? You're undecided I'll definetly not read them next week. Who's with me? I meant that it was hard to do and I've thought about it before but never could. I'm not going to next week. Why don't you just agree or disagree and discuss rather than pointlessly picking apart everything I said?

Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted June 5, 2002 I'll take your word for it. But for the love of God do you read the spoilers and do you think that hurts the enjoyment of the show?

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted June 5, 2002 I love being able to watch Smackdown before everyone else. But I still can't resist reading the spoilers, even though I have to wait almost 24 hours less than other people do to watch it.

Guest Report post Posted June 5, 2002 I never had this dilemma with Smackdown, but back when RAW would have live shows only every-other-week, I wouldn't read the spoilers. I just started getting Smackdown this year, so I always read the spoilers for it - it became a habit - and honestly, they're not doing anything special enough for me to care if it gets spoiled or not anyways. Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted June 6, 2002 I know I almost always read the spoilers for Smackdown. Heck, I hate being surprised, even when I was younger, I was never happy just opening a Christmas present, I had to find out what it was before I opened it. Sure, in some cases, like if there was a good match or something, I may end up enjoying it less than if it were live, but I really do not care because it usually prepares for what to expect if I know the spoilers first. I really do not have much faith in Smackdown, so by reading the spoilers I usually know whether I should watch the show or not, and at which points I should be watching the show(i.e. if Hurricane/Tajiri are on.) and when I should take a pass(i.e. when someone is cutting a boring promo.) I figure I will stop reading the spoilers when the WWE decides to put out a product good enough for the spoilers to ruin. The spoilers cannot exactly ruin a terrible show because I would much rather come to grips with the fact that the show will suck the meat missile beforehand, then have to watch the whole 2 hour show, and realize that, "This show sucks."
