Guest Report post Posted June 5, 2002 What songs are best to get you in the right mindset for a challenge, fight, etc.? I'm talking stuff that you can just envision angry men in big trenchcoats walking to thre sound of at night or something. I can think of five good hype songs off the top of my head: Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boys - "Put Your Hood Up" Limp Bizkit - "Rollin'" Archie Eversole featuring Bubba Sparxxx - "We Ready" Motorhead - "The Game" Marilyn Manson - "The Fight Song"

Guest Insanityman Report post Posted June 6, 2002 Actually I have my own reason for BWBW... I kicked my nieghbor's ass the first time to that. "Wait and Bleed" By Slipknot. "Underground Network" Anti-Flag... my personal choice. Most Pantera. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" By Nirvana. That's about it, I usually play the first half of Underground Network or just that single by Anti-Flag.

Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted June 8, 2002 If I get pissed, and get angry, nothing does the trick like Stabbing Westward's "Shame" for me. I remember back in '96, when they first hit it big, I bought the CD on a whim, because I liked "What Do I Have To Do". I wound up liking Shame even more, and luckily it was the next single released off the album. To this day, I swear that "Wither Blister Burn and Peel" is the best album I've ever bought. Other Stabbing songs, like "Save Yourself", "Haunting Me", "The Thing I Hate", "Violent Mood Swings" and "Nothing" have all come in handy as well. Other songs that get me "in the zone" (TM Ken Shamrock, lol) Reveille's "What You Got?" Cypress Hill "Rock Superstar" Pantera "Walk" Creed "What If" (the only Creed song I like) Sponge "Plowed" (love the guitar riff) KISS "Detroit Rock City" As for putting wrestling themes in here, "The Game", the DX theme, and Benoit's newer theme are all awesome for it. Guest Report post Posted June 9, 2002 I'm SO sorry if this is the eight millionth time this has been started, eesh. All I was did was think it'd be neat to name some songs, didn't see it on the board at the time, and was thinking of hype songs since I was headed off to Nationals in a couple of days. I'm quite pleased to see it still here, since I've been gone for the next four days. If we're going to specialize for the situation: A fight: Definitely "We Ready" or "Put Your Hood Up" by the aforementioned people. An Academic Team contest(when I still was a part of them): "The Game," previously mentioned. Any kind of situation that takes confidence(ie. public speaking): "Natural Born Killers" - Ice Cube and Dr. Dre Those are about the only situations I can think of that would warrant hype music. Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted June 9, 2002 Natural Born Killers is like the most annoying song ive ever heard. I mean i liked it at first but then when the gangstas kept it going through their matches, it got old and annoying.
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 10, 2002 I hated that. It'd just keep looping and looping and looping...

Guest papacita Report post Posted June 10, 2002 Natural Born Killaz gets me hyped too (even though it got corny whenever New Jack lost). Other songs that get me hyped are "Beanie" by Beanie Sigel...throw "Roc the Mic" in there too, that song "Watching Me" on Rule 3:36 (it's so damn short though), "Keepin it Gangsta", "Right Now and Later on" and "Can't Deny It" by Fabolous...and I dunno about the rest of you, but Chyna's song always got me hype.
