Booker T Face Turn

Booker has done a great job as heel and gets a lot of heat, but he's now stuck with Test again, having jobbed to pretty much everyone on the uppercard. Should he be turned and would he get over as a face? I think he would, given the right matches and gimmick. A feud with Angle would be a good way to start.

i always loved booker as a face when i was a mark, and i think it could work again now.  back in the invasion, his sucka catchphrase was over huge, and the crowd pops both for his entrance and the spinaroonie.  i think he may become face again in the aftermath of mania, as there are too many uppercard heels (not including the 3 main eventers who fued with nwo), and he is the most likely to turn, as angle doesnt work as a face, and jericho was recently turned heel.  also, it gives the fans something fresh, as many have not seen a face booker t.

Booker T is definitely better as a face, no matter how much his demented facial expressions crack me up.  Maybe if the nWo come in and shore up the pervasive heel shortage, the WWF will have room to gamble with Booker T again (or, conversely, bury him with nary a thought to make room for "da old guyz".)

I think he is so hated by the fans, that he could not get them to like him at this point.  I see him being buried now that the NWO is back especially after watching him lose to Spike on Smackdown tonite-unless he and Test are pushed as a top tag team.

I've always thought Booker worked better as a face, but maybe he should get about a month off after Mania and then come back fresh.

The spinaroonie was just starting to get over, like the People's Elbow did, before the Invasion match. I haven't really picked up what kind of reaction it's been getting lately.

I always thought (and I know I'm not alone here) that the Invasion storyline was badly done (the wCw name had no value by that point anyway), but turning the whole "company" roster heel was a blessing in disguise for Booker T.

 

I'm not really sure what he might have offered as a face. As a heel, he's surprised me. I think he's done some good work. But as has been mentioned, it's time for a change, and anyone who's really over as a heel is often easily turned face. Fans just die inside to cheer those wrestlers they currently jeer. We all tend to do it.

My only problem is that as a heel, you are supposed to cheet to win and they keep jobbing him to everybody, which makes him look weak.

The Spinaroonie could get Booker some big face heat. Like somebody said. He was getting some pops for it last year. It kinda has died down, but could pick up if he turns it into his "People's Elbow". Where the fans start to pop huge when they see it coming.

Face or heel, it doesn't really matter the guy can get over either way.  They need to push him as an actual threat to someone.  The guy doesn't even have a real finisher because they took away the Bookend.  Maybe if he and the Rock end up on different sides opf the split he can use it again.  

BTW it makes sense for him to have heat with nWo because of him being held down in WCW while they were there.  So a face turn and a feud with Hall seems logical.

I think he does great as a heel, but if turning him face means that the WWF would actually be willing to put him over somebody, then I'm all for it.  

 

I think turning him face to oppose the NWO would be very easy and I think he'd get over right away

I agree that a face turn would be good for Mr. T, but he would have to be pushed.

 

He could turn face by fighting for his job against the nWo and Vince by saying the nWo killed the WCW and put him out of work, then Vince killed WCW II at Survivor Series and put him out of work, and now Vince and the nWo are trying to kill the WWF and put him out of work again, the suckas!
