Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted June 6, 2002 Pretty much any Pink Floyd
Guest mesepher Report post Posted June 6, 2002 I don't think Pink Floyd would appreciate you associating their music with drug usage especially since Roger Keith Barrett went insane due to enormous drug usage... with that aside... mainly early, early Floyd is musically exotic, once you get passed 1972 era Floyd, they cease to be phsychedelic. but I believe listening to Careful with that Axe, Eugene might scare you stupid. saying that The Final Cut is a good album to "smoke up" to is just silly... Spaceman... didn't want to be an asshole, just wanted to clarify peace

Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Pantera" walk" is the BEST drinking song period. Sublime's greatest hits cd is good when fucked. Most techno will work too. Crystal Method "name of the game" is good to listen to as well.

Spaceman... didn't want to be an asshole, just wanted to clarify peace I agree with you on your assessment of The final Cut. The music does not connect with me on a spiritual or halluconigenic level and being high while listening to the album would not enhance your buzz. With that said, listening to the first side of Atom Heart Mother is an absolute pleasure while frying your briain.

Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted June 11, 2002 actually, i only mention that because i listened to that album the first time i ever smoked out. as a whole, floyd's best album is actually meddle which isn't bad music when you want to float away to the mystical planet of Nardfoteslslm
Guest Report post Posted June 11, 2002 You would definately need to be off your head to enjoy Alice Donut or Stereolab. I've been accused of worse. (I notice you're criticizing taste without offering your own.) I've never heard Alice Donut- can you describe them? Crazy, heavy, psychedelic punk. Their site at their record label is here. I would recommend starting with Untidy Suicides... or Revenge Fantasies of the Impotent.
