Songs to listen to when fucked up

Recommended Posts

Can be songs about getting high, or just songs that are really weird and cool that are good to listen to.  Anyway here's  mine.

Sublime- Smoke Two Joints

ATDI- Cosmonaut

Beck- Novacane

Glassjaw- Two Tabs of Mescaline

Tool- H.

TOD- Another Morning Stoner

Cap'n Jazz- Tokyo

Queens of The Stone Age- Feel Good Hit of The Summer

I don't think Pink Floyd would appreciate you associating their music with drug usage especially since Roger Keith Barrett went insane due to enormous drug usage... with that aside... mainly early, early Floyd is musically exotic, once you get passed 1972 era Floyd, they cease to be phsychedelic.

but I believe listening to Careful with that Axe, Eugene might scare you stupid.

saying that The Final Cut is a good album to "smoke up" to is just silly... :)

Spaceman... didn't want to be an asshole, just wanted to clarify

peace

Also, Crystal Method "Vega$" good for laundry OR the gym!

Bob Marley - anything DUH, how could i forget him, or n/m i think i know how (reads again the subject of the thread)

Fugazi - how ironic is it that a sXe band could give us such stoner classics as "Red Medicine" and "In on the Kill Taker"

finally, Van Morrison - Moondance

Pantera" walk" is the BEST drinking song period. Sublime's greatest hits cd is good when fucked. Most techno will work too.

Crystal Method "name of the game" is good to listen to as well.

I agree with you on your assessment of The final Cut. The music does not connect with me on a spiritual or halluconigenic level and being high while listening to the album would not enhance your buzz.

With that said, listening to the first side of Atom Heart Mother is an absolute pleasure while frying your briain.

rock on! someone knows more than the big FIVE FLoyd albums! for me, listening to the AHM suite is an absolute pleasure without frying my brain, but to each his own, I suppose.

actually, i only mention that because i listened to that album the first time i ever smoked out.

as a whole, floyd's best album is actually meddle which isn't bad music when you want to float away to the mystical planet of Nardfoteslslm

I've been accused of worse. (I notice you're criticizing taste without offering your own.)

I've never heard Alice Donut- can you describe them?

Crazy, heavy, psychedelic punk.

Their site at their record label is here.

I would recommend starting with Untidy Suicides... or Revenge Fantasies of the Impotent.
