personally i liked the lenny lane west hollywood blonde gimmick, he wasnt being so stereotypical, just flamboyant. The bows on the belt? loved it. I thought the three count idea was initially great as well.

I won't comment on most of the things that were written, but I will comment on two of the "rumors".

 

The "rumor" that I am a silent owner in J Sports & Entertainment is a total fabrication. While I'm much more than just the company "travel agent", I'm not an owner. The notion that the Jarretts would try to hide my relationship with the company is laughable. I've been involved in the project from day one, and have dealt directly with practically every piece of talent that we have signed so far.

 

The Shane Douglas "rumor" is for the most part true, except for the fact that our conversation was very cordial and at no point resulted in Shane cutting a "promo" or "yelling" anything. He and I have been friends for several years, and I helped open the door for him to get into WCW, so I was disappointed that he won't be a part of NWATNA, but our conversation was in no way confrontational.

 

As to the other "rumors", some are partially true and some aren't even close. Answering them one way or another would serve no real purpose at this point....just watch the first couple of shows and you'll see for yourself if they are true or not.

Just the fact that some of the rumors have some truth to them has me very worried.  I don't know about anyone else but personally I don't want to see another "Sports Entertainment" group.  Although they might be saying "This is wrestling" when it comes down to two guys dressing as Penises that is not wrestling.  Why can't they have regular gimmicks (not over the top and goofy as hell) and just do good wrestling.  I've talked to straight up marks and all they want is wrestling.  They don't care about promos and gimmicks.  Gimmicks get in the way of my enjoying a show more often then they help it.

Whose smart idea was it to make a dick tag team? That's worse then the "Sisters of Love".

 

Why does Franchise have such heat with Francine that he won't work in a company because she works there as well? I wish the Franchise could get on tv again, and I'm pretty sure WWE is out of the picture. I don't care what Bob Ryder says I'm still going to picture Franchise cutting a promo on him.

I think theres money to made by everybody in having both.

does shane think hes going to make a killing off XPW and indies? he could make a greater amount on that one day every 2 weeks in NWA, and get more exposure. He would be a great heel to fit their system, he could still work said other promotions, and he should be healthy to perform. Maybe he's getting a ton for the XPW booker salary.

 

Francine's hot and does good promo (and shes one of my favorite wrestling females all time). But they could get any no-name to replace her.

 

Its too bad douglas has those issues..i was looking forward to seeing him on a regular basis.
