Guest El Satanico Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 So does anyone around these parts watch the Sci-Fi channel show called "Farscape"? It's one of the better shows on TV, but it hardly ever gets mentioned and doesn't seem to get any respect. I was watching Extra the other day and it was talking about the trend of Cable networks making good original programming series. It mentioned old overrated shite like "Sex In The City" and that new shitty looking show "The Wire" which sounds like a rip off of The Shield and 24. Yet somehow these fuckers didn't even mention Sci-Fi and Farscape and it's one of the better shows on TV period. Is it just another case of serious Sci Fi shows set in alien environments never getting any mainstream TV respect? If any of you around here hasn't seen it, aren't anti sci fi and are interested in giving it a chance. Well the season premiere is on tonight(Friday June 7th) at 10 pm.
Guest brokentusk16 Posted June 9, 2002 Report Posted June 9, 2002 Personally, I think that Farscape is the best sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural show on TV right now. It solidly beat out Buffy with the ingenious season 3 finale. And if last friday's premiere was any indication, this show will remain strong (unlike Buffy who began to falter in it's fourth season).
