Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 8, 2002 "Reportedly, some parts of the Hulk Hogan vs. Triple H match from Smackdown were cut to make the match look better on TV." credit 1wrestling. I shudder to think what they took out. Now before this is dismissed...these 2 are the last 2 WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!! meh...I found it interesting.
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted June 8, 2002 It wasn't edited ENOUGH.
Guest Report post Posted June 8, 2002 Apparently they also had to shoot the ending of the battle royal twice because they did'nt do it right the first time. Of course, they really didn't do it right the second time either as HHH clearly hit the ground first.
Guest Brian Report post Posted June 8, 2002 Well, at least Triple H tried.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 8, 2002 he tried twice! PUT THE TITLE BACK ON HIM NOW DAMMIT!!!!!
Guest Report post Posted June 8, 2002 Did anyone notice on smackdown that in one of the angles shown of HHH and Hogan going over the rope you could see another camera man standing RIGHT NEXT to HHH and Hogan. Yet Michael Cole tells us that none of the camera angles were conclusive....besides it was still obvious that HHH landed first anyway.
Guest Goodear Report post Posted June 9, 2002 I hate to break it to everyone, but Smackdown is edited all the time and this is really a nonstory even if Hogan and Triple H are the ones involved. I mean, do you here these complaints about the editing done on the comercial release of that Jericho-Rhyno match where Jericho kept falling off the top rope? They also edited a botched table spot with Angle last year(?).
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 9, 2002 well the obvious difference being that the Angle/Kane table spot was redone and the Jericho slip was edited because they were accidental mistakes. Hogan vs. HHH was edited because it was too boring for tv. I see the difference.
Guest Report post Posted June 9, 2002 Who cares? If it makes a better fucking match then edit the fuck out of it. I would rather them edit it and be entertained then no edit it and fall asleep.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 9, 2002 did you see the match? the edited version? It still puts you to sleep. My point is that everyone who says that RVD isn't good enough to main event...fuck that. The last 2 champions are putting on matches that are too bad for tv. Patience....let Taker and HHH bomb King Of The Ring. With Vince in full alert mode looking for improvements, they should be removed from their spots immediately after....eh who am I kidding, it will be blamed on Austin and Eddy... Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 9, 2002 No, it will be blamed on Angle and Jericho. They always get the blame. Jericho moreso than Angle.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 9, 2002 They'll probably just say that HHH did great considering his busted knee and busted shoulder.

Might I make mention that the only place I see Angle and Jericho "blamed" for bad TV is... RIGHT FUCKING HERE!!! Note to people: Things that happen in your imagination might not actually happen... try and tell them apart enough that I don't have to read about your fantasy life anymore. Note to people: Things that happen in your imagination might not actually happen... try and tell them apart enough that I don't have to read about your fantasy life anymore. I believe they are using sarcasm. Jericho was blamed for the lack of heat at Mania and the lack of interest in the feud with Triple H. It was claimed that his work was not good enough and that he could not generate heat. Stephanie, meanwhile, was deemed the hero of WrestleMania. As she inserted her fat, talentless ass in the main event to "save" the show since no one wanted to see the focus on Jericho, of course. Basically, the whole storyline revolved around Triple H and Stephanie, while Jericho played the bitch to both parties. Yet, Jericho ended up getting blamed for the debacle and not the princess or the wannabe movie star. That's where this joke about Jericho and Angle getting blamed for everything that goes wrong in the WWE comes from.

The last 2 champions are putting on matches that are too bad for tv. hey bps, I've always forgot to tell you All that heat we may have had, b/c of HHH, well I was clinging to my hope that he'd snap out of it after his injury I've always been an RVD mark, but didnt say he was being held down. I was wrong lol. Sorry I gave you shit for it, HHH really is that damn bad nowadays and you're right about teh champs. Austin became the Champion after HBK and Bret Hart Now Taker has it after hogan and hhh. Anything the WWF had that could be considered Quality, is dead, or dying

Guest JHawk Report post Posted June 10, 2002 The saddest thing about more and more people seeing the light about Triple H... ...I'm going to KOR with a friend of mine and he wants to see the HHH-Taker match.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted June 10, 2002 ...I'm going to KOR with a friend of mine and he wants to see the HHH-Taker match. Poor poor child.. Wait? You're going to KOR? Try to start the RVD chant during the HHH-Taker match!
Guest RicFlairGlory Report post Posted June 10, 2002 Another person sees 'the light''... lol I saw the light about two months ago, just never had the chance to tell bps. For the first month and change after his return, I was still sadly pumped, but man he's a horrible face. Will anybody remember that he won the Rumble? Have you ever noticed that a Wrestler coming back usually KILLS the product? When Austin came back, we lost the HHH/Angle/Stephanie angle, well, when HHH and Steph were actually worth watching (mostly due to Angle). Then when HHH came back, we lost Jericho/RVD... ::shakes head sighing:: Oh, and I know HBK coming back will probably kill Booker T's push too, but, bah, I miss HBK too much. I'll give him the same month and change grace period that I gave HHH.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 10, 2002 hmm...you know...an RVD chant should be real easy to start during what I assume will be a very boring main event match. DO IT!
Guest RicFlairGlory Report post Posted June 10, 2002 hmm...you know...an RVD chant should be real easy to start during what I assume will be a very boring main event match. DO IT! Ugh, I had to see HHH Vince and Shane vs Taker and.... ick god that KOR sucked. 75 dollar seats. And Angle/Jericho had the best match within the first 20 minutes. God I had to see CRASH fight pat patterson in a dress or some shit, blah that sucked
Guest JHawk Report post Posted June 10, 2002 hmm...you know...an RVD chant should be real easy to start during what I assume will be a very boring main event match. DO IT! Should I pass out fliers encouraging other fans to start the chant too? LOL
