Heyman pushed for him to join ECW first, while some feel Brown would be better on Smackdown as it is taped, and others feel that since ECW has Lashley and Smackdown has MVP they should add another young African-American to Raw since they are never going to push Shelton Benjamin significantly.

The Sabu story keeps getting worse and worse. Not only did he look like he just didn't want to be at the PPV tonight, but PWInsider reports that he recently missed a talent photo shoot yesterday for all of the talent. Once again, he just didn't show up.

As soon as he's gone, he's got a job in TNA for (I'm assuming) similar money with less work dates. Considering he's been screwed since July, I can't say I blame him for dogging it. Hey, I'd rather have him dog it by no-showing a photo shoot and napping backstage as opposed to just being a lazy fuck in the ring and risking somebody else's career.

I don't think it's so much a "We're never pushing Shelton" as it is "Compare the push Lashley has now to the push MVP is getting, to the complete LACK of push Shelton Benjamin is getting. All things considered, RAW is the only show that doesn't have a black guy getting a push, so Monty's probably going to go there."

Trish Stratus is up for a lead role for a new reality TV show in which celebrities become law enforcement officers. The police department of Muncie, IN will be working with the producers should the show get picked up. Other names mentioned are Jack Osbourne and Erik Estrada.

Vince McMahon has been putting pressure on Raw and Smackdown head writers Brian Gerwitz and Michael Hayes to give the two shows a more distinctive feel. He wants Gerwitz to model Raw on the late '90s and Hayes to model Smackdown on the late '80s.

 

Shane McMahon was the person pushing hard for WWE and Pride to make a deal as he is a big MMA fan. In the early years of UFC there was even talk of the WWF purchasing the group and having Shane run it. As it stands it is very unlikely that WWE will bother doing anything with Pride, particularly as Bob Sapp would not be able to work as a wrestler full-time.

Ugh...why? Undertaker doesn't need the belt at this point in his career, and the "streak" doesn't mean as much as WWE makes it out to. Having him go over Batista, a guy they're supposed to be building around, allegedly, would be stupid at this point.

He hasn't been proven to be a real draw, after he squandered all his heat from working with HHH, what has he become? A generic big-man. Add to that he is totally accident prone because he is fucking AGED, I don't see any future in him, at all.

 

He was fine as a semi-cool sidekick man, but he is no one to build around, you build around steady and supportive structures....

Batista is a WWE homegrown talent and he will get as many chances as he wants because he is a WWE management darling, the only guys or things that don't get second chances are ECW, Jericho, RVD, and every other former WCW/ECW wrestler except for the Big Show or HHH's stooge: Ric Flair.

According to WWE.com, Candice Michelle suffered a serious nose injury during the Women's Battle Royal tonight on Raw. Near the end of the match, Victoria delivered a vicious kick to the face of Candice. WWE's Dr. Rios says Candice will see a specialist tomorrow for a consultation to determine if surgery is needed.

You're telling someone who owns every volume of SHIMMER to raise his standards?

 

Look, Candice at least knows her way around a ring which is far greater then Maria and Torrie Wilson, whom after 8 years in the business still struggles with a high kick. Candice, is better at actually working. Sells fairly well for a glorified model, moves well enough for someone who probably has minimal training. That's better then what she even needed to be to keep her job. She might not great but when you're putting forth obvious effort when you don't need to do anything but gyrate, she should get credit. While she isn't remotely near the level of even Haze, Melissa, Knox, Del Ray and Mercedes (just to name a few), to act as if Victoria is that much better is nuts considering Victoria since the injury has been limited (in her work and the booking). If this was 2002, probably would say that Victoria blows Candice away but in late 2006? Not much seperation between the two.

 

However, the gap of Mickie/Trish between Candice/Victoria is tremendously wide open.

Yes, she has been and I'm not sure why she hasn't taken the surgery unless she feels WWE would cut her for it. It's not like she hasn't been a regularly pushed character beyond 2004. It's one of those injuries you can wrestle with but it will affect your overall mobility.

Hawk, for someone who is untrained, Candice is fine. If she got properly trained, I'm sure she would better. Yes, she moves okay in the ring, and her selling is passable and not retarded looking, but her execution still sucks. And that is the difference between a trained and untrained wrestler. I cannot take what you say about Victoria and Candice being around the same level seriously at all. Victoria looks like a wrestler...Candice looks like she's acting like a wrestler.

 

As someone who is also a fan of Shimmer, I'm very suprised that you put Candice at that level. Maybe you find her hot? Sure, she has potential, but I'd rather not see amateurs night on Raw.

whoa, whoa, whoa, Hawk Victoria is such a better worker than Candice how you can say the two are on the same level is way way out there. Candice, while has improved over the year, is still improving and is no where near how well Victoria works in the ring.

 

Victoira and Mickie are the two most talented women wrestling on Raw, and Candice can't hold a candle to either of them.

And just so you guys know, Keller just reported in his audio that Flair has been given an extended leave of abscence. That is the reason for the angle tonight. He was given it because he is about to go through a very nasty divorce settlement with Beth Flair (one that will probably be broadcast live on court tv). He is expected to be gone for however long it lasts (possibly 6-12 months).

No one would ever claim that some backyarder is at the level or random WWE worker. Victoria is so far ahead of ANY of the un-trained diva's, its not even funny. Are you even aware of what a backyarder is? She's a model that got hired for her looks and was placed in the ring to justify her job and unlike some other people in her place, she's made that effort. Jeff Hardy is the epitome of a backyarder working in the WWE.

 

Where did I saw Candice was a world class worker on the level of SHIMMER talent? I said as compared to the other diva talent in the company and on the raw roster, she's better then Melina, Maria and Torrie. I said that when Victoria was healthy and regularly booked, she was great but that's not the case right now. She's still good. I didn't say Candice was better then Victoria. Candice improved enough that she doesn't look weak compared to the Trish, Mickie and Victoria's of the company as the other diva "wrestlers" do.

 

Candice is believable enough to hold her own in that ring with someone like Mickie or Trish, while Victoria could make some one like Maria look passable in the ring. That's the key difference right there.
