The Amazing Rando

PROMO - Bruce Blank & Bloodshed & Alan Clark too

Recommended Posts

The halls of the Key Arena are a bustling with activity as crew and wrestlers alike prepare for the night. The only quiet constant in the scene laid out before the camera is one Walter Reynolds, who walks toward the camera, peeking his head into random doors as he goes. After a moment he walks past the camera and around a corner, finding a door with two five-letter words written across it.

"Bruce Blank"

Walter gives a courteous knock before ducking his head in, and after apparently seeing something he likes, he enters. The camera follows, only to see Bruce Blank at one end of a long bench, with Alan Clark at the other.

"How many times am I going to have to tell you that I'm sorry? It's not like he was supposed to duck out of the way!"

"That's not the problem........" Bruce pauses, thinking to himself, "...Alan. That's not the problem. The problem is that we lost. That *I* lost. I'm not a loser."

"It happens to everyone! It doesn't matter who you are or even how good you are, there will always be those days where you aren't a winner." Bruce, remembering Jacob Helmsley from less than two weeks ago, does not seem to find that to be the answer he was looking for.

"What are you even doing here anyway? What's with the Disney mumbo jumbo? Don't they know you're a lunatic?" Alan is a bit taken aback, but laughs it off, throwing his trademark smile on his face.

"Oh, they know that. Trust me, Bruce, I know exactly what I am doing. I can turn that stuff on and off like a faucet, like this one time, against Craig McCl--"

"--I don't need any kind of psychological history lesson. I just know that you left the SWF months back to concentrate on what we were doing in the OAOAST, and now that you are back here - WE LOST!" Bruce lets out a little more emotion, throwing a towel across the room, which Walter quickly catches as it flies past him. "And I don't even want to KNOW what the deal is with that guy!"

"He is--" Alan starts, but Walter cuts him off.

"I am simply here to make sure that Mr. Clark does nothing to jeopardize his contract. I'm sure you know that he can be a bit of a loose cannon sometimes..."

"SOMETIMES? I think that boy might be crazier than me, I'll tell you this one time when we were in Detroit, he--"

"--Wooah! I don't think anyone needs to hear about that, Bruce. Really. People could be watching, IMPORTANT people..." Alan points toward the camera lens, and reluctantly Bruce quiets himself, only to make small gestures toward Reynolds that he might tell him all about it once the camera was off. Walter nods.

"Don't you have a match you should be preparing for or something?" After a moment of silence, Walter pipes up, and both men look up at him, unsure of whom exactly he was talking to.

"I'll be fine. Some guy named Scotty isn't going to Rain-a on my parade!"

"You think I haven't been preparing for this for the last week, ya big lug?"

The two men's responses come out almost on top of each other, causing both to laugh.

"Rain-a on your parade?"

"Did you just say 'big lug'?"

"Yes, he did, but maybe Mr. Blank needs to check out a mirror sometime." is Walter's response as he heads toward the door. "I'll be waiting outside, but hurry up, the show is starting in ten minutes and I want to find a monitor so I can actually watch it this time."

"Just go find a monitor, I don't care."

"I'm not leaving from the other side of this doorway unless you are with me. A job is a job, sir."

"Fine, fine. I'll be out." Walter steps through the door and Alan stands up, moving to shake Bruce's hand.

"Have a magical--"

"No. Don't give me that force-fed cue-card sh-"

"shoot!"

"What?"

"Nothing. Sorry. It's just...the SWF doesn't need Bloodshed. That's all." The two shake hands and Alan heads toward the door.

"Yo, Alan..." Bruce calls just before Clark can disappear. "...and you really think the SWF needs Disney Sponsored Alan Clark?"

Alan stops, and looks back into the lockerroom. After a long stare, Clark slowly nods.

"Have a magical day, Bruce. Really."
