Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 9, 2002 I dislike this week's episode. The Bradshaw segment sucked. It was like "He's works hard, he played football, he got cut from the Raiders. he found wrestling, THE END!"
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 9, 2002 Well, this Austin segment just saved the show.

Guest Report post Posted June 9, 2002 This Austin segment is BLATANTLY RIPPED OFF the "What" video. It's the exact same thing.
Guest Luke Michael Report post Posted June 9, 2002 I thought the Tough Enough 2 segment was kinda good. I liked it when Jake and "Big" talked.

Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted June 9, 2002 I thought the Tough Enough 2 segment was kinda good. I liked it when Jake and "Big" talked. I think Jake blew any chances he had at a developemental deal, when he said he regretted it and wouldn't do it again if he knew he couldn't win...
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 9, 2002 Jake talked about not burning his bridges, well, he just lobbed the torch to end all torches (THRICE!).
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted June 9, 2002 I had a feeling Heenan's appearance would be a segment on his recovery. God it was sad to see him like that....one of the most outspoken voices of wreslting history, reduced to that. At least he his hopefully recovering.
Guest myburninghammer Report post Posted June 9, 2002 Hey, did anyone else notice that Chavo mentioned in the beginning of the program that he had no idea who was picked until the winners were announced...and then Big said later he was involved in the "unanimous" decision? Maybe I misunderstood, but that's some retarded shit if it was their mess up.

Guest Human Fly Report post Posted June 9, 2002 I'm hoping for the sake of Kenny and Jake those interviews were scripted. If they weren't I hope Jake has NWA-TNA as his highest goal, and Jake didn't really help his cause much either. That being said the people involved in TE2 who are acting like there is no big deal or controversy are wrong. In TE1 it was obvious that the two most talented people didn't get chosen, but a man and a woman were both given the contract. It was said over and over in TE1 that "one man, one woman, for a guaranteed contract blah, blah, blah" I thought that they said the same thing for TE2, does anyone know for sure if they did? Guest Report post Posted June 9, 2002 This weeks edition wasn't anywhere near the level that the last two episodes were, but that's to be expected... However, next week's episode is a can't miss... geez, seeing Heenan and hearing the condition his voice was in was just so sad... but he's a tough bastard, and I'm glad he's recovering. Can't wait to hear what he has to say

Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted June 9, 2002 How come 'the best two' didn't win from TE I? Why wasn't Maven AND Josh both winners? Why does the Wwf love football so much? Really, why? Both of the 'before they were superstars' featured guys who played High School football... I know a lot of wrestlers have made that transition, but when you focus more on football more than wrestling, something is wrong. Confidential is like 75% shit from the Wwfs previously released home videos. Gene still murders every single Wwf commentator in terms of.. everything. I can't wait for Bobby next week. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 9, 2002 How come 'the best two' didn't win from TE I? Why wasn't Maven AND Josh both winners Because Josh wasn't very good. And he had an AWFUL attitude problem
Guest Luke Michael Report post Posted June 9, 2002 I think Jake blew any chances he had at a developemental deal, when he said he regretted it and wouldn't do it again if he knew he couldn't win... I don't see how he regrets anything. Why regret getting free training from the WWE and instant fame in the wrestling business. He's stupid if he continues to cry about it. Same with Kenny. Tell WWE you support their decision. Even if you don't you still have to live with the fact that they are #1 and you wanna get a job with them.

Tell WWE you support their decision. Even if you don't you still have to live with the fact that they are #1 and you wanna get a job with them. I agree with both of you. Jake just burned any bridges he had with the WWF. I doubt if they will ever higher him. His attitude during that interview was atrocious. Even if he felt that way, he should have just kept it to himself. To say that he'd never tried out for TE2 knowing what he knows now was just dumb. He got exposure, first class training, etc. Kenny's interview wasn't as bad but not by much. I doubt if either will ever be hired by WWF. Did anyone sense that Big was slightly pissed to be there? I thought this week's Confidential was not great, but wasn't bad either.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted June 9, 2002 Unless this is part of an angle... Where Kenny and Jake come back and talk aboot how they deserved to win and shit and for a tag team the likes we never want to see. THEN have Matt (is that his name? The big fan dude who got injured) come out and protect the LADIES. How can you say that NIDIA was a better pick than Josh? She obviously wasn't if it took YAY amount of time to get her into an angle on Wwf tv while Maven has been racking up the wins..or losses...or whatever. Guest buffybeast Report post Posted June 9, 2002 RRR, I don't think that was scripted. Jake sounded genuinely pissed and unhappy during that interview.
Guest Report post Posted June 9, 2002 Yeah and to top it all off, Jake wasn't that good an actor on TE2 anyways, if you remember the promo skits. BUT MY OH MY STACY AND TORRIE LINGERIE SHOPPING YEEEAH

Guest Report post Posted June 9, 2002 What the Hell is all this crap with Maven and Josh being the "Best" on TE1? Josh wanted to be the 3rd Hardy Boy and just be a "Spot" Wrestler. Hell, if anything. Maven and Tayler/Taylor, whatever, should of been the top picks.
Guest Report post Posted June 9, 2002 Hell, if anything. Maven and Tayler/Taylor, whatever, should of been the top picks. I've always wondered why Taylor didn't get it and why Nidia did... Taylor was much more aggressive in the ring and had much more talent from what I saw... plus she was freakin' Hot and Nidia... well, she's not
Guest Risk Report post Posted June 9, 2002 Eh, the whole concept of TE is unfair to REAL wrestlers.
Guest Report post Posted June 9, 2002 That I totally agree with. None of these guys need to be debuted immediately on WWF TV, they're a liability to other wrestlers and themselves. Though the exposure of being on Tough Enough does help.

I didn't catch a minute of TE2, but if those phone interviews were the true characer of those two guys, then I understand why they weren't picked. Damn, they sounded like a couple of bitches, that white guy especially. Were they more athletic than the women? Probably. But damn, don't whine about the decision like about it. I'd be bitter too, but don't show it, unless you were 100 percent sure you want nothing to do with WWE ever again. If I were one of those two, I would have said on the season finale that I was disappointed by the decision, but happy for the winners and thus wouldn't say anything else because this was the two ladies' hour. On the phone interview, I would has said that although I disagree with the decisions made, I'm happy for the winners and glad to get a glimpse at what is really needed to become a WWE superstar. Wrap up this ass-kiss fest by saying that I'm going to work harder and prove that this year's TE should have been 3 winners. I guess that saying is true: Athletics don't build character, they reveal it.
