It's great how within a few minutes Cryme Tyme become 2 of the more interesting characters on the show.

5 black people in 1 segment....Has this ever happened before?

We've had four and a half before. During the Nation:

Faarooq

Kama Mustafa

D'Lo Brown

Mark Henry

The Rock (1/2)

Shelton Benjamin keeps getting the Billy Gunn treatment from WWE. Constant pushes that go nowhere due to his inability to connect with a crowd beyond high spots/catchphases and gets the JR "Best Athlete in WWE" spiel. All he needs is about 6 more random tag team partners.

That was an awesome spot.

I'm thinking a Shelton/Crazy minifeud wouldn't be bad. Fly under the radar so the writing staff don't get too involved, and just go out and have a few crazy matches with a nice high flying blowoff match.

See, Cryme Tyme got over almost totally because of their characters. They proved they can work a formula tag match and do some generic moves, but the crowd ate it up with a spoon. Goes to show that sometimes WWE can get it right by emphasizing characters over workrate.

The gimmicks over so as long as they don't embarass themselves in the ring they'll be fine.

Yeah, JTG is decent enough to be face in peril and Shad can do your typical hoss stuff.

They've got more charisma than I thought, especially after seeing "Da Beast" in OVW for years. Doesn't hurt too that they actually have an idea of what's somewhat hip.

Well in a perfect world you have both but obviously guys who aren't great workers like Cryme Tyme should be more character featured. There are of course other guys who can get over more on other things.

It should be noted that this isn't a WWE creation. It's an OVW product that WWE wanted to keep because it worked. Just like MnM.
