Guest Report post Posted June 10, 2002 At a theme page located at http://www.100megsfree3.com/wrestlestar/ww...urrentpast.html , there is a song for a wrestler named Korel. I have no idea who he was, or when he existed, or if he is just a figment of my imagination and there's nothing there at all. But I'm puzzled as to the origins of this song, which is among the cooler ones I've heard. I reckon that he was some sort of aquatic-themed wrestler, maybe he came out of a water tank. I don't know. If you know, please inform me. Thanks!

Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted June 12, 2002 I don't know who he is, but his theme kicks ass.
Guest Report post Posted June 12, 2002 this question was asked at the old Wrestlecrap forum before it was shut down....think we finally figured out that the name and the music were from a Mortal Kombat-style video game, and had been included either mistakenly or as a rib. Guest RevEvil Report post Posted June 12, 2002 I believe that site had "Girls in Cars" as Strike Force's and Andre's music.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 12, 2002 andre the giant had a theme. i've never heard it, and i swear every match i've seen him in he had no entrance music at all.
Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 Maybe he did a six-man with Tito and Rick once. This Korel thing pisses me off. You guys at WWOW should add him as the wrestler that never was.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted June 13, 2002 Wouldn't Andre have been a heel during Strike Force's run?
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted June 13, 2002 I seem to remember that on the first Wrestlemania video game for the NES there was MIDI-type theme music for every wrestler, regardless of whether they actually had a theme or not. That could be why "Girls In Cars" is listed as Andre's, although I thought his on the game was "Stand Back."
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 13, 2002 so the questions remains, did andre have a theme during this obscure six man tag match?
Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted June 14, 2002 Vince sung Stand Back on the Slammy's and i believe on Hogan's cartoon it was used on there whenever Andre was involved. I dont ever recall him using it in a match tough.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted June 14, 2002 I don't think this obscure 6-man ever took place.

I dont ever recall him using it in a match tough. i think it's a common misconception tha andre used stand back as his theme. i've never heard him ever use music while coming to the ring. Guest DokDoyle Report post Posted June 15, 2002 I think where the "Stand Back as Andre's theme" thing comes from is the fact that when "PileDriver" came out and they were showing video's on Superstars, The Video for "Stand Back" was footage of Andre at and in the lead up to Wrestlemania
